“Update ...... they have very kindly refunded my money and sent a label so that I can return the goods. Customer service excellent! I was so excited when my order arrived but now I am very disappointed. I hung the product on my bird feeding station and waited and waited and waited and 3 to 4 WEEKS later it has hardly been touched (see photo). It would appear that the birds don't like it. I now have several tubs that are of no use to me.”

“I have been a customer of this company for 12 years and spent over £10,000 with them. No idea why are you stuck with them for so long given the many issues with their website. Final straw was last week when they sent me an invoice for an item which apparently was purchased in April – eight months ago – which had got caught up in yet another of their website issues – and for which I had previously received an email from them saying that it had been paid at the time! Absolutely disgraceful and appalling way to treat a loyal, long-standing customer. I will never order from them again.”

“I worry about Living with Birds: Firstly they have an item on their web site not fit for purpose: Ground Feeder Guardian It DOES NOT KEEP STARLINGS OUT Secondly they have asked me to review this review!! I have returned it because it is no good. Refund received What else can I say ?”

“Dear 'Living with Birds' . I have been ordering flutter butter from you for years, it's great and the birds love it. This won't change, but this time of year we always get a gang of starlings who eat all the food at breakneck speed, leaving nothing for anyone else! So I invested in one of your starling proof feeders. IT DIDNT WORK!!!!!! A whole cake was eaten within one hour and attracted so many startlings. It did the absolute opposite. For this reason, I have rated you 1 star. But the flutter butter is excellent.”

“Service & delivery, impressed. Unfortunately the birds in our garden not interested in this feeder. We have a ‘variety’ of feathered friends that frequent our other feeders at regular times during the day. Have tried scraping the butter feed but 3 weeks now & no interest. Disappointed ☹️”

“To be honest after seeing an abundancce of tiny wren/tit type birdsin the garden- not one on the feeder, yes I did take the film off !! am sure coincedence, but not many birds about now .”

“This is the first time I've been disappointed and felt I've needed to leave a less than positive review of this usually great company. I purchased the small Grasmere Slate Roof bird table at £51.00 recently, simply because I've made many purchases before and always been pleased. This item is a complete waste of money and I really wish I'd gone elsewhere. It's VERY small and although relatively easy to assemble, the legs of mine just won't seem to lie level despite multiple attempts to rectify them, so it sits on a slant. Even if it was flush to the floor, it's so lightweight the slightest breeze topples it over because there's just nothing to it. It only takes one squirrel to run up it and it's on the floor. Honestly wish I'd saved my money. Think twice if you want a robust bird table.”
