“Very horrible experience as the customer service received was very horrible. I purchased a sim and they tried to remove money at designated time but couldn’t due to the fact that my card was hacked and I blocked the card.as I received their message I quickly did a top up as advised in the text message but unfortunately the data didn’t renew so I called their office to help resolve .alas I was told that the top up I did had finished in less than a day which was supposed to last for a month and they can’t do anything about it even though I followed their instructions.

“Lyca mobile has the worst customer service by far. I needed my payment history to submit for something official. There was NO RECORD it on the website or the App. I called on 16th May and asked for it to be emailed to me so that I could meet the deadline. 2 days later, I got a text saying it had been sent by post and would arrive in 5-7 business days. I called back and asked that it be emailed so that I could submit it at work but was asked to send the request in an email which I did immediately. I sent a follow up email 2 days after that. I got an automated response on the 2 occasions but still have not received my payment history. Between 18th May and today, I’ve called and spoken to the most crude and poorly-trained customer service reps who barely could understand what I was asking nor would allow me speak. Apart from the first 2 male agents I spoke to, the other female reps I spoke to portrayed lack interpersonal skills and no active listening skills and talked over me numerous times, that I had to say, “allow me speak and perhaps you’ll understand what I’m asking for”.
On 22nd May, about 6:10pm EST, I spoke to a lady who called herself Maria, I had 2 issues to discuss- the first one was about having loaded my phone but didn’t see the credit and the other was to follow up on my initial request. After barely answering the first issue, and I was about to ask for the second, she told me she couldn’t answer more that one request per call so I would have to call back for the other concern! I’ve never heard of anything like that before. She spoke like someone who lacked common education and customer service training. Customer service reps usually strive to resolve every issue in a call and prevent unnecessary callbacks but this one was quick to get me off the phone. Maybe she feared she would not be able to answer the concern. Lyca mobile, please train your staff properly and have information such as payment history for the customers to readily access on the website and the applications so that they don’t have to call for little things such as this. If it’s a technical issue, have your IT staff work on it quickly because as I speak, it is still not available on the website and I have still yet to receive my payment history. This is an extremely terrible experience for me over something so little. SMH.”

“The customer service can barely speak English, run through a scripted response telling you everything will be fixed in 24 to 48 hours. The agents clearly just have a console and no power to do anything to help. The tech team behind the scenes seems just as incompetent.
I had roaming issues which were not sorted out for over a week and my trip was over without ever having a phone abroad.
Now I have a damaged sim, and the new sim is not mapped to my number. Phoning every day to get it mapped to my number doesn't help. It's always just in a "pending", the agents tell me it will be "working by the night". this has been happening for a week. No amount of escalating helps. Even asking for a supervisor call back gets a response of "24 hours" and yet no one calls.
If phone connectivity is not important to you or if you don't need a phone as a priority then maybe you can work with this company.”

“I topped up £5 to get 5GB as my package was out of data. To my surprise, I found that within 4 minutes I ran out of the topped-up 5GB. when I checked I had used only 64mb. When I checked data usage on the Lyca app it shows a £1 charge for every 6.64mb.

“Do not look for price adds only!
Just avoid this carrier you want peace of mind.
I went from another carrier to Lyca hoping that the service and coverage and price will be great as they advertised them.
I opted for the eSim but unfortunately with the very poor and extremely disappointing customer service I ended up losing my number I transferred from another carrier.
I called several times the customer service to help and every time their employee gives me a reference number which is either incorrect or is not followed up at all, not to say that their supervisors on duties are always in meeting. I sent them several emails to their customer service and I never got a single reply.
I asked them to get back my account ad PIN to come back to mu original carrier and no one is wiling to help me. As result I have to admit I lost my number.
if you still want to face issues and move to Lyca then avoid eSIM since the QR code they give does not work and when you call them, they will ask you to purchase an new eSIM. hhhhhh try to understand the equation !!!!! maybe it is one way to make money.
conclusion: if you want to look for a reliable carrier with a US compatible customer service, then look for other carrier.”

“Can't make phone calls. Roaming not working at all. Contacted customer service 4 times in a month still nothing worked. Therefore I requested refund for the service they failed to provide. At the same time, I have to transfer to a different provider because I need to make phone calls!!
They refused to give me refund because I ported my number to different provider! Reason is totally unacceptable!

“Tried to set up a pay monthly contract (not easy) I had the "contract" sim card delivered but when I came to use the service it had been sent out as a PAYG sim. After 6 emails phone calls and chats all of which I was told in 24 hours it would be sorted and every day it's not.
