“I used lyca sim due to cheap internation call but their customer support service very poor. They blocked my sim due to error in their system as when I recharges bundle and due to system issue it did not get recharges on the same day so i raised ticket for refund however I got recharged on the next day I forgot to closed ticket . I am lyca customer from last 2 year but suddenly they block my sim without informating me. Now I am chasing them from last one week but no responce......from one week i am without internet or not able to call anyone....

“I have been a lyca customer since aug 2018. Be very careful with the money you leave in the simcard as once the offer is expired (internet or minutes) it won't send any message and you will start spending a ridiculous amount of money. This is the reason i renew MANUALLY the bundle every month.
Customer support is more than poor, you can call them and they don't reply or the lines fall right after you reach the operator (Strange, uh?). You have to retry multiple times.
I bought a 30CHF roaming bundle which didn't work except in Germany (and immagine the struggle of being north Europe without internet for days) and i sent a mail to request support. After 6 days and now that i'm home, I got no answer. Basically I paid for nothing.
Unfortunately, you get what you pay. Rates are pretty low and this come at a price..”
“I bought the SIM card thinking that I could have a European SIM for periodic trips I was taking. I purchased a bundle for 20 pounds. I didn't see the automatic renewal clause (my bad). As it turns out if I only wanted it for a month I would have had to order it and cancel it the same day as it needs a 30 day notice of cancellation...so you're in for at least two months. Then when I started getting the monthly renewals, I tried various ways of getting a hold of them to cancel (online form, call centre, registering for self service) and each one of those mechanisms basically didn't work. I finally found another email address which they actually responded to (albeit very slowly). Too bad, conceptually this could have been great but the lack of clarity (or opt out option) for the monthly renewal makes it seem like a deliberate money grab, especially when coupled with really terrible customer service channels. I'm going to look for a more reliable service provider.”

“If only I had read some reviews before purchasing a sim card and data bundle from Lycamobile at Heathrow 3 days ago. I could not activate it and was locked out of customer help because my balance was supposedly £0, despite having paid £25 two hours earlier. Trying to "register" I finally reached an advisor who could not help me at all but assured me that he would register me and that someone would call me back within 24 about my internet access. No call, no access. When I called back I was told electronically that my complaint had been closed. When I tried to relodge I was told the same. Now I see that so many other customers have had similar problems with Lycamobile's non-functioning product. But even worse is their unspeakable customer service, the most appalling I've experienced in nearly 20 years of using mobile services across the world.”

They advertised under this bundle 100 International mins + EU roaming. But actually the international means no more then 7 big economic countries + the EU countries, non Africans or la-tine Americanises countries. Ironically I can call this countries from my land lines for free.
I get this information from customer services after waiting 10 mins on phone (paid service 9 pence / call).
They took my £10 after tricking me, but I promise them I am not going to use this services again. I am not going to recommend it to any one. 😢😡😡”

I bought a Lycamobile SIM card with 7,5 euro credit on it. Surprise! When I check my balance, there is only 5 euro credit, they said I will get 2.5 euro more at my first recharge. I recharge 10 euros, I check the credit again: 15 euro! So where the hell is my 17,5 euro that I paid for? Stolen maybe? Then I try to buy with my credit one of their monthly plan - 14,99 euro reduced to 7,99. Surprise again: I can not buy anything with my credit, I have to buy again with my credit card - another 7,99 euro. So where are my 17,5 euros I paid today if I can not use it? Maybe stolen? Avoid this scammers.”

“very poor service, will never buy it in my life, bought it from the a shop and shop owner stated that its 1p/min to India and i recharged for 5 pounds. made few phone calls and the credits got finished less than 100min. called the lyca mobile customer care and was advised that to activate this you have to send a message to 2525 and it lasts for 30 days. i topped it again toady for another 5 pounds and send the text but the when i send it says text message failed, tried few times but still the same. I think its a fraud company? which is trying to get money from vulnerable people. be careful of the company and its steps to get money from customers”
