One of their customers (Name and shame) Tokunbo Fasoro hit my car... not only did she refuse to provide me basic information, my insurance company cannot get through to them. Presently, I am about to take Tokunbo to Civil court for the costs and then my companies legal team are going to sue Marshmallow insurance for their failure to comply. Dreadful company”

“legitimate scammers. Avoid at any cost. They are quoting me £440 cheaper online, however upon renewal they are charging me £2 more than existing price, with £25 admission fee.
I have advised them with this info and they were not willing to help. Please note that I've worked with Marshmallow because of those online comparison websites, and they're telling me that they do not always keep the right info, if that is the case, are you insuring everyone with incorrect information on your database?
Upon requesting cancelletion, they have told that there will be fee of £170 too
avoid it. Imagine if you had an accident, is this the company going to help you out? I will certainly never ever work with them, even if they quote me the cheapest quote.
Now i am working with another provider, who gives £1000 cheaper deal. so my lost here is £170 admission fee, £25 admission fee of renewal(god knows why and how they are charging me when i decide to not renew my contract)”

Now, my policy is being cancelled as a consequence of damage to my vehicle in the accident. They are not paying out, telling me my brand new car was unroadworthy at the time of the accident which was simply untrue. DO NOT TRUST THEM”

“I need to update my licence to reflect my new uk licence. Their rules say I have to speak to a consultant but it’s impossible to get hold of anyone real time. They revert, only through the app sporadically. Sometime the same day sometimes not. Never immediately. And never through a recognized channel like email or phone. This is not an organisation that is equipped to deal with people through the app channel alone. It feels like you are dealing with three people running it out of a garage. A poor experience. It is an awful organisation. I reported my accident claim on the day of my accident (23/11/2024); I have not heard from this organisation since, and now I have found out they did not even log it !!!!!! They provide their customers with a telephone number; however, if you call it, you CAN NOT get to speak to anyone; you are directed to "live chat". The "live chat" is absolutely useless; no one has the courtesy to answer the chat at a good time, and if you start a conversation, you speak to a computer!!!!!. What is the point, Marshmallow?! I have been trying to cancel my policy and get the refund payment for December 2024 because I haven't had my car since the end of November (accident). I do not believe you are a genuine insurance company, but more like a scam. RIDICISOLOUS!”
“One of the waste companies has no ethics. I cancelled the policy before the start date, yet they charged me £30 as an admin fee. What kind of service did they provide me before the policy even started?
In a similar situation, my friend dealt with another leading insurance company, and they refunded the full amount without taking a single penny.”
“Very very poor costumer service , waiting 2 weeks on the livechat to get an answer (simple to check a file) advisors redirecting you from one department to another all day long. TRICKY AGREMENT , in case of non fault incident they take from the car outlay the premium for entire year , doesn’t ask if you do accept or not.”

“Went to put private number plate on this afternoon sorted with Dvla and then went to app… says private registration number here ! So I put in my new reg, came up within seconds speak to a service advisor. Pressed chat nothing for ages then came on … need to speak to your underwriter see chat in 3 hours then at nearly 3.30pm advisor tells me she’s of until 4 and to upload v5. This is a simple task but still no joy waste of space”
“They are one of the cheapest I saw, so I register with them. Upon signing up, they didn’t ask for any NCD documents. Or tell something about failure to provide these documents will result to a higher premium. Once I’m in, they waited 5days to ask for the document. And when I told them I don’t have them, they add £1,211 on my overall premium. That’s crazy! So I cancelled! And they took £75 from me. 30£ cancellation fee and the days I was covered! When in fact they waited for 5 days to notify me with the needed documents. try looking at their facebook ad, they can filter the negative comments but they can’t hide the angry reactions!”
