“The process of arranging the finance was simple and efficient with 2 exceptions relating to the ID checking - - I was sent a phone text link to start the ID checking, and on my Android phone this was unusable! It asks for date of birth, and presents a calendar of the current month, but won't let you type in a date, and will only let you scroll back one month at a time - completely unusable when the date of birth is in 1952, ie 860 months back! I phoned in and was sent an email link instead which worked fine on a laptop computer as it let me simply type in the date. - as part of the ID checking it asked me to select the type of document I wished to use, and photograph, to confirm my ID, and gave a choice of passport or driving licence. I used my passport, and was phoned an hour later to be told that was no use, and I should redo the whole ID process using my driving licence! Apart from causing needless delay, it was an unnecessary hassle - if you are not going to accept a passport for ID (and why on earth not??) do not offer it as a choice! Other than that, no problems, and the finance came through fine.”
