“They have the regular shopping website until the point when you make the payment. After the payment is made they show a message like 'you will receive an email with your code'.
Instead you receive an email like 'you reached stage 2 where you must confirm your phone number and send a picture of yourself containing your bank card and your ID and a paper where you write I bought from MTCGame and your email and other' (for future company advertisement or what?). This you find out after you pay already, there is no mention before that anywhere on the website or in terms and condition or whatever. If you don't do that then you get nothing. They have customer service which will tell you send those documents and selfie or else you get nothing. I have seen other reviews some people sent them and then they got ghosted by the customer service instead of getting anything, including no refund.
So if you want to let your ID documents together with your bank card and your email, selfie and phone number to roam freely on the internet, one way would be to make a payment first to MTCGame. But even after you do that, you may find out you reached stage 3 of the requirements, where they ask you to do more things, since they won't tell anything from the beginning. No, first you put items in the basket and pay thinking that's it, same like everywhere else on the internet like Amazon and such. Only after they present you with the surprise that you only done stage 1 needed for the transaction out of who knows how many.
If you read this, hopefully is before doing any payment there. Stay away from those thieves my brother. If you already made the payment and then they hit you with no delivery until we get your everything and still not give you what you paid for, immediately call your bank to block or reverse the payment since the seller did not did his part after taking your money.
Hopefully when too many people complain to banks and ask to reverse transactions they will ghost the company or make some warning system when do.eone tries to make payments there in the future.”
“I bought EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S (pre-order) at this store in day 17/08/2022, for 73,48€, and when i and when I asked them via whatsapp when I was going to receive the game key, and if I was going to get all the limited edition bonuses for having ordered the game before August 21st, they first told me that I only received the key on September 30th, and after that there would be no bonus, because it was the normal edition. I was upset, because I bought the ultimate edition and was going to receive the normal one. So I asked them to cancel the purchase of the game, and give me the money back.
They said yes, and that they had already made the return and would have the money back within 10 working days.
Today is September 21st, more than a month has passed, and I still haven't received my money back.
When I contact them by whatsapp every day I have to tell the whole story again, and they always make up some excuse, that the refund had already been made, and to talk to my bank. I spoke to my bank and of course they told me they didn't have any information about it, just that nothing had reached my account. Today they told me that there was nothing else they could do, and that the only thing I could do was talk to my bank. I have all the whatsapp chat with MTCGame since the first day, saved in pdf as proof.
As a last resort, I even asked them that since they couldn't return the money to my bank account, so that they could credit it to my MTCgame wallet so that I could at least buy something else there, their answer was negative. I was scammed and I hope this report prevents anyone else from being scammed by this store.”
