“My first set of chicks early in the year shipped fine, my second set (this is about the USPS Not this hatchery) were sent 500 miles out of the way before arriving here and dying. My Pet Chicken was advised and they sent another set of chicks free of charge. Fortunately the USPS didn’t screw up this delivery as they are thriving! Actually the first set early in the year are starting to lay!!!!”

“Ordered 3 Austra White and 2 Bountiful Blue Egg Layers months ago. Shipped on the expected ship date. Every chick was happy and healthy upon arrival. They are 2-1/2 weeks old now and thriving! Is there anything more adorable than a puddle of sleeping baby chicks!?!”

“It was easy to order online. They kept you updated as your order was getting closer to delivery. My baby chicks arrived in 24 hour from shipping day. I'm in California. They all arrived healthy and so cute! I will be ordering from My Pet Chickens again.”

“Over the years, I have consistently received gorgeous chicks from My Pet Chicken. They arrive alert & healthy & I guess I am keeping them that way with feed & products from you. I also give them a daily feeding of fresh fruits & veggies. My current chicks arrived on April 8th and each day new coloring and feathers appear.. It’s like a present that keeps improving daily. I would recommend any novice and small farm to try your chicks and products.”

“I bought three female ducklings - two Cayugas and one Black Swedish. They arrived in perfect condition and instructions for their care were included. They are happy and healthy and follow me around the yard.”

“Our chicks arrived the very next day after they were shipped. They were energetic/healthy on day 1. Three weeks later and they are all still doing great. The only thing I would say is that I was surpised they arrived so early and potentially may not have been ready to recieve the call from the post office. The shipment email estimated 3 days. Don't get me wrong- earlier is better. But there wasn't much notice given during the time the delivery date was expedited.”

“These people are wonderful to work with, on the Internet or by phone. I prefer phone. My ducks were shipped on a Monday and I received them at the Post Office first thing Wednesday morning. They were packed well and they were in great shape. They are one month old now and growing faster then weeds. Hope to get them out in their coop and run in another month.”

“Second time ordering recently. Ordered 10 chickens summer 2024 and 6 ducks spring 2025. Wonderful experience, everyone has been healthy from arrival and growing up. The only complaint I have is that the 10 chickens I order in the summer of 2024 were supposed to be all hens and we did end up with one rooster. I believe they have a guarantee if ordering a specific sex, I did not do that as it took us a bit of time to finally confirm. So that is my fault. But healthy is all that matters really.”

“We ordered a Buff Orp, Green Queen Easter Egger and Austrolorp from MPC. We had several occaisions to interact with MPC via their website, telephone and chat due, in large part, to our ignorance and excitement. We had lost two chicks in the prior weeks (to join our "flock" of 3 in our backyard) and cannot praise MPC enough for the patience with us and educational offerings through their website which helped us trust in getting chicks again. Our chicks arrived healthy (and vocal) at our post office and were packed neatly and caringly. Our chicks are healthy, and are to the breed standards outlined on their site. MPC has exceeded our expectations each step of the way and we now have three more chicks on order.”

“I was weary ordering live birds online, one-it was my first time, second-will they make the delivery trip? After trying to get chicks from my local farm stores, they were always sold out, i figured why not try it. Selecting the birds was super easy and going by hatch times made our planning at home easier as well. I had notifications their whole journey to NH and the post office called me immediately after arriving. We ended up losing a chick but i bought a couple extra in case that did happen, all the other chicks are THRIVING and have gotten so big! I have already recommended this company to a few friends and I myself, will go no where else for chicks!!”
