“The t-shirt felt too think for Summer so I drove to your Burlington Arcade branch with my daughter - I use to shop there with my mother and grandmother. I called earlier in the morning to see if they had the superfine version available. The person I spoke to said they had a superfine L and they'd put it aside. When we arrived I explained the conversation to the salesperson. The lady who I spoke to was incredibly non chalant. I was told they didn't have it and I must have called the wrong store. I repeated the conversation and asked if they could check stock. It took a few asks until a male colleague stepped in and asked the girl to look downstairs which she did and found one. I tried it on and was unsure and asked if they had an XL. The sales lady responded that they don't carry XL in the store as not many people come in looking for that size. It was clear to both my daugther and I that your sales assistant really didn't want to help us and I don't expect sizing questions to be ansered this way. I asked if other stores nearby woudl have it and the salesperson said she didn't know so I asked her to check and call. We left. My daughter was really shocked how I had been treated. We went to your Brook Street store and the service couldn't have been more different. Warm, curtious and helpful. I think it's really important - especially with a premium heritage brand - for sales people to be polite, positive and helpful. The woman working at your flagship store is none of these and I won't be returning. I will also tell my friends to avoid experiencing this type of behaviour.”
