“I love my brass bell from Restoration Online! It was on back-order and not available immediately but I was kept updated about the progress until delivery. It is sitting in pride of place outside my front door now. The brass looks fabulous on the dark blue wood. We did replace the screws as they were a bit small for the job, but otherwise all good.”

“To whom it may concern, I know this may sound trivial, but being that the cabinet locks I purchased were reproduction items, I would have thought they would have been supplied with slotted screws, not phillips head screws. Kind regards, Tim Scriven

Thank you for your review and sharing your feedback about the screws. The Philips head screws are easier to install so most suppliers therefore use these where they're not going to be visible, such as inside the cabinet.
However I can certainly understand this isn't as authentic as the original screws would have been, so I'm sorry for any disappointment - we'll pass on your feedback to the supplier.

These items are traditional hardware designed to be installed by a tradesperson rather than as a DIY product, which is why installation instructions are not typically included. That said, we appreciate the feedback and understand that instructions could still be helpful, so we will certainly take this into consideration.
