About ScratchSleeves:

ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

“These came the next day in the post, great speed. We needed them for my grandson who was scratching his skin at night. They worked wonderfully, easy to get on and also for him to still play with his toys, he did not mine his hands covered. His Mum also bought your pJs after using the sleeves, she was very impressed. “Ordered 2 sets of pjs and arrived the next day. These are now the only pjs my son wears to bed. He has severe eczema and, with the satin mittens attached, he scratches but does not make himself bleed anymore. The trousers are too big so do fall down (bought 2-3 years old and my son is nearly 3 and average build for his size). We also bought scratch sleeves for the day, which we put on and then a tshirt over the top so he can't take them off. So glad we found this company, happy with our purchases and would recommend to anyone who has a child that may be prone to scratching themselves.”

“My daughter was pulling her hair out in her sleep and these have absolutely worked a treat! We have kept one hand free which she sucks her thumb with and the other hand is covered with the sleeve and apart from being slightly upset when we popped it on the first time at bed she had been absolutely fine and most importantly it hasn’t disturbed her sleep and has stopped the hair pulling! Very happy!!”

“Brilliant. I didn't expect these to work so well. Our 3 year old had a recurrent skin complaint which we struggled to cure as he would scratch badly during the night. He had antibiotics, creams, baths - nothing was working. Being able to stop him scratching by putting on his "magic gloves" made all the difference and the skin infection has cleared up.”

“My three year old really struggles to control herself from scratching at night due to eczema, and has often woken herself up having scratched open quite extensive cuts in her sleep. It is difficult to get this under control, but the scratch sleeves are so good at helping her manage when she is asleep. I really don't know where we would be without them.”

“I was nervous at first because my 20 month old daughter hates when excess fabric from her sleeves touches her hands. We use the scratch sleeves for when she sleeps, and at first she kept saying, “uh oh, uh oh”, but due to the softness of the fabric she got used to it and doesn’t fight us when we put them on. Her eczema is getting better because she is unable to scratch herself at night, and we’re all sleeping better because she isn’t screaming at night because she scratched till she bled. Thank you for the great product!”

“My son, now 2 1/2, has suffered from eczema since turning 1. He has been on countless steroids, emollients and creams, seen by douzens of doctors and had numerous trips to hospital. Scratchsleeves have been the only way we can be confident that he won’t rip his skin to shreds, (especially at night) and make things even worse and allow himself to heal. They enable the medications to take effect properly, stop him ripping the skin and prevent the risk of infection. I do not know where we’d be without them.”
