“Bought and built a 16'x 6' Shire peony summerhouse. Overall I was impressed with the quality of the wooden panels/doors etc. my only criticism was that the roof felt was quite delicate and tore easily and the felt nails supplied were too short. To make the roof more secure I fitted batons to the seams and used longer felt nails which worked fine.”
“Excellent wood quality, designed to be easily assembled and gives a robust and quality finish.
Unfortunately the pad bolt and catch are only supplied with 25mm screws rather than the rounded headed bolts which would have given a degree of security, B&Q can provide the missing items.
That apart an excellent product.”
“As a kit the garden playhouse we ordered me all our expectations. The construction was of a high standard considering the price and importantly all the expected parts were present. The delivery went hassle free which was also appreciated. My only concern was that the printed instructions were not that clear (when compared to IKEA kits, for example). Luckily I have quite a lot of experience with diy but I fear a less-experienced constructor might have had some difficulty.”
“The Arbour arrived in good condition and on time and with a helpful delivery driver. Assembly was straight forward even though I didn't have a smooth level surface! This would make it even easier and I think essential for those without shed building experience. The finished result is excellent and very sturdy with a good weight to it.”
“Very pleased with my purchase. The shed was delivered as agreed and everything arrived in good condition. The delivery driver was efficient and helpful. The assembly instructions were excellent: clear and easy to follow, and all the required ironmongery was supplied. The fabrication quality was very good, with only one small defect where some nails attaching cladding to an underlying baton had missed the target, but this was easily remedied.”
“Bought this because we wanted something a bit more attractive than the usual plastic and aluminum greenhouse at our new home. It is of solid construction. All panels in good condition when they arrived. Instructions are pretty good. You definitely need 2 people to put together and you will need some DIY experience to make a good job of it. We had the main structure put up in a few hours (we already had a solid level base in place), but be warned, there is a lot of bits and pieces to paint - 2 days work to get that done! . Silicone sealant is recommended for putting in the glass too. Putting in the glass takes some time and care but overall the finshed products looks fanatastic and is very robust.”
“Excellent build and quality for the price point. I upgraded the base to a rotating turntable and upgraded the roof with shingles to get my desired look. Very be pleased with the building and perfect for my space.”
“Quality merchandise, affordable and excellent customer services. Our summerhome was delivered in February and when started wood preserving the first part of April we discovered one gable had a piece of wood cracked down the middle and they replaced with no fuss within just a few days. All I had to do was send photo of damaged piece.”
“Lovely shed and ok to put up but there was no numbering or letters on the pieces in order to assemble so it was like one big puzzle trying to work out all the pieces by measuring them. Other than that the shed is lovely”
“The potting shed was great. Just a couple of remarks....
1/. It was delivered with extra wood blocks to help with transport so that the lower edges do not get damaged. Excellent idea, but there is no reference to them and that they need be removed.
2/. The triangular windows were supplied separately. A good idea as it made it easier to handle the sides, but there was no screws supplied nor instructions”
