“Delivered on time with excellent communication. Assembly as expected, it’s a wooden structure, so as expected, not engineered for exact fit. Some tweaking, particularly on the roof, but, happy with the result. Some small gaps in the roof, overcome with additional beading bought separately.”
“It is a lovely building, and was delivered in good time, with everything present. The instructions were pretty good, though the actual fitting together was quite challenging - aligning the wall panels, hanging the doors, etc. There are some gaps which we need to work out how to seal effectively. Overall though, it's a great purchase.”
“Reasonably easy to put together single handed, however, there are areas I would ask you to consider for improvement!
The triangle shape does not slip over the tongue and groove top. The bottom bar sits on top of the top bar of the front panel and the groove in the bottom piece of the triangle does not slide over the tongue of the front panel.
There are three pieces which are door stops but a fourth piece is needed on the floor. The front of the floor is a groove and is easy to break when stepped on. The fourth piece would complete the square and help strengthen the floor.
It would help if the 16 x strips for the window were pre drilled. They are rough pieces of timber and the nails are so small which makes it difficult to hold the strip of wood in place, hold the nail and hold the hammer to knock the nail in!

“Excellent shed for the price, easy to put up I did it on my own but would definitely be quicker with two (what they recommend).
Two bad points; first some of the nails have missed thier mark thus leaving an exit hole (and the end of the nail) so I re did them and filled the hole,
Secondly the hardware they provide aren't the best so would advise getting better quality later, they are still usable to start though.
Overall I'm very pleased as the build quality is great and it comes in small sections so I could easily move them around.”

“About 40-45 man hours total : to paint (2 x coats) when in flat pack form , prepare foundation/base (simple sand and paving slabs) and assemble 6ft x 6ft timber playhouse. Looks good when finished. Instructions could be slightly better with better quality detail views and explaination (maybe down to photocopying). Very happy grand-daughter!”
“I eventually put it together, my main problem was I kept mixing up which was the inside or the outside on the side main side panel but not Shire's fault.

“Promp delivery, well packaged and the sections were well constucted, so far so good. However, when it came to putting the unit together the problems mounted as the task progressed, Thos was entirely due to the fixtures and fittings. Some fell apart, some were short and some were just plain wrong, for example the felt nails supplied were all 8mm (which is ok for a dolls house) when they should have been 13mm. This caused delays and extra expence trying to sorce the correct item locally. The finial was missing altogether and have had to come up with a plan B.
All in all a good product let down by poor fittings.”
“A lovely addition to our garden very easy to assemble . after a couple of weeks we have noticed a lot of shrinkage to the timber causing cracking of joints and movement of door frame some of the timber is not very good quality rough sawn ..door furniture not very good . regards M White .Watford.”

Driver was helpful. He was blocking the road so he hurriedly offloaded the item and carried it into the garden for us.
Too late after he'd gone I saw it was not what I ordered.
The herb planter was supposed to have six segments but this one had only four.

“Pleased with the overall quality and relatively easy construction. However very disappointed with the quality of the roof material. Should be plywood, Chip board is poor especially if being painted which we wanted to do on the inside. To make our summer house attractive. Also very thin roof felt. It would be worth paying more for these materials . Photo shows before painting completed.”
