“Overall it is a nice looking greenhouse spoilt by manufacturing quality. The opening roof windows did not fit properly so we had to trim them and many of the wooden beads retaining the glass were too long so we had to trim them back. Also we had too many right handed pieces and not enough left and the knots in the wood had not been treated properly so came through when we painted it.”
“Whilst the product, once assembled, has brought a lot of joy to the children and family as a whole, it was very disappointing that it arrived in tiny bits. There is no way that the pieces can be checked as requested by the company without the delivery person waiting several hours. The construction requires 2-3 people experienced at DIY roughly 3 days to complete it. Sadly we had hoped to construct it in 1 day to surprise our little boy waking up on his birthday morning to a playset and had arranged a party based around his friends coming to play on the new playset after school. Overall - a good product but could do with much easier assembly (for example pilot holes drilled or marks where screws need to go) and a clear warning that it arrives in individual planks so will take 2 people at least 3 days to construct it.”

“The website and ordering service was easy. Unfortunately the delivery was delayed which was frustrating as we have a builder ready to install it for us. The summerhouse itself feels rather cheaply made which is a shame as it certainly wasn't cheap to buy. Our builder completed it within 4 hours or so and then we painted it and it looks nice. Overally I'd say we're fairly happy with it.”
“Drawings aren’t the best for construction. A few bits missed out in the construction drawings.
Had to strengthen parts with better quality screws etc.
The locking mechanism/hinge on the door is pretty poor.
Overall a good platform to develop into a better shed.
Delivery process needs to be improved as the expected time was 12pm. It turned up at 6pm.”

“The summer house overall is really nice but the floor is to thin and very weak I have had to pay out for more and stronger flooring .. the window catch could be better they broke aster 2 days other than that overall it's a lovely summer house once completed”

“Finished product fits the bill as a wood store. Instructions clear however it would have been ideal if there were pre-drilled pilot holes to make construction easier. Not clear in the web-site that I would have to drill holes prior to assembly!”

“Very disappointed with this shed as the windows are only one or 2 mm thin plastic breaks as soon as you touch it won't keep burglars and vandals out the height of it going through the doors and across members inside are very low no more than six foot maximum claustrophobic went inside as it's so low and cannot be used for what I intended it to be the delivery was supposed to have been midday I waited in it did not arrive to nearly 4pm messed up a whole day”

“To begin I must say I am happy with the building.The buying and delivery of the building was very straightforward.The instructions around the door caused some issues and could be made clearer.The bad points that when installing you have to protect the wood as you go along.ie retreat the wood the shed stands on ,protect the underside off the floorboards.The door and window cannot be screwed to the building due to expansion and contraction,so they move around and sometimes stick.3 coats off protection ,costing over £100,if not the warranty is invalidated.So yes I'm happy but don't try claiming on the warranty if something gos wrong because there pretty covered.It would be interesting to know if there own installers do all off this.”

“some panels neede to be adjusted with a saw the quality of the roofing felt was very low standard with extra care taken when folding the corners to avoid it spliting Rook support is very minimal with the thickness of the roof panels being so thin I will have to insert additional struts when I wish to walk on it to cut the hedges”

“Hampton 8x8 corner summerhouse. Happy with finished product but the roof was a nightmare, had to get help and ended up sawing a few bits to get it to fit (2 roof sections were different size to what is stated in instructions and shire didn’t get back to me when I emailed). And paint everything before assembly or else you’ll regret it believe me. But now it’s all finished I’m happy and it looks good, worth the money overall”

“The building itself is very good, just dont expect it to be erected by the company as we experienced many delays in the process resulting in us having to erect ourselves, could have completed the whole process months ago if we had only opted to erect it ourselves from the outset.”
