“This works just as I expected - and wanted. The biggest downside is the instructions - the trend for this type of guides is just laziness so that they don't have to do an intelligent guide in different language. U6 Luckily I found one online that provided a simple step by step guide in plain English....so come on ring wh not start reversing these rubbish guides....you would have got 5 if they had 'guided you' in a straight forward wayi”

“Seems to be well thought out with the features of the unit,it remains to be seen as to the reliability of the pump, a little disappointed with the accuracy of the gauge as it says it cannot be verified.”

“Looks great, nice well thought out unit, great design. I understand why no quick release valve,but it would have been better with one. Only used once to check and top up motorcycle tyres worked well...apart from the valve...4.5 out of 5...👍”

“The machine for inflating tyres looks good, better than using foam following a puncture. But I won't know if it works or if it's really the best solution to a puncture until I get one. I hope that will be a long time hence! It was delivered very soon after ordering, thank you”

“I have bought several of Ring automotive machines and find them great. I would however appreciate a more comprehensive written operational description of the machines. Pictures are ok but leave out many things like capacity, Running time, Explanation of some pictures etc. Brian Ford”

“This would have been a 5 star review but for the performance of DPD. The tyre inflator does just what it says in the advert. Customer service at Ring exceeded all expectations arranging an urgent delivery by Fedex after we had twice been let down by DPD who even after having given up delivering for the day still told us that our package would be delivered shortly. The choice of courier is well worth the loss of a star.”

“I ordered the RTC1000 Rapid Digital Tyre Inflator 12V DC after seeing a friend with his own portable tyre inflator. It arrived quickly and is easy to use, even though I found the instruction leaflet a little difficult to comprehend. Topped up the car and then realised I could use it on my bicycle. Vey happy!”

“The instructions accompanying the Ring cordless digital tyre compressor are poor, comprising a set of illustrations rather than text. This adverse comment appears in reviews too, so it's obviously seen as an issue. It smacks of laziness - have someone produce written instructions to accompany the text, but not a IT geek who assumes everyone is as familiar with technology as he/she is.”

“The unit is a little large considering it is intended for storage in a car boot but otherwise it’s well designed, simple to operate and appears to be accurate. The cordless design is very handy, the only slight downside being that the unit takes around 9 hours to charge from flat! My only other comment is that it would possibly be easier to use if the connector to the tyre valve was of the ‘lever’ type rather than screw-on type, because it’s almost impossible, when disconnecting after inflating, not to lose some air! All said, although not cheap, from my experience so far, I would highly recommend the product.”
