“The book is really lovely unfortunately, think you should include hair colour, I choose the skin type which was light brown because my grandson is mixed race and has black hair when it arrived he had red/ brown, so can't give it to him so extremely disappointed”

“Nice and a good stocking filler. Why have I rated it 3*. Because I would of liked it to be a little bit better quality and more name dropping. Also if it were a semi hardback would of made it complete.”

“Ordered on the 6th December & didn’t arrive in time for Christmas. Thought I ordered in plenty of time. Really disappointed as this was for my grandad and I know he would have loved it.”

“First book I received had all the numbers over printed on the shirts on every page, I emailed the office & got a very quick response & reprinted the book again correcting the over print but when checking the two books found the 2nd book had pages with no number printed on the shirt! I was pleased with the book & I was taking it to Canada but I cannot say I would recommend the book.”

“CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM 1. Presented to: then the quote has closed quotation marks but no opening. - 2. Next game is away to Livingstone; they lead 1-0, Ann Iren equalises and the scoreboard shows St. Mirren 1 Celtic 1. - 3. "Right Girl’s (apostrophes do not make nouns plural) you know the team" but drawing shows males in the dressing room and also males walking down the tunnel. 4. A better idea would be to continue with Scottish club names along with Aberdeen, Rangers, Livingston etc instead of using generic names like Rovers, Albion, County, Athletic, City.”

“This book put a massive grin on my friend's face..but this was only because he happened to fit the stereotype the character fitted..I do not understand why you cannot change the main character to be a black man, a black woman, a muslim woman etc..surely that should not be a big ask?? Based on the character limitations, I also consider this to be considerably overpriced. You were picked up on lack of variety way back when you appeared on Dragons' Den, why have you not fixed yet??”

“It was for my sons 30th but it did not live up to the presentation, it was more for a teenager, I was expecting a glossy upmarket professional finish, disappointed to be honest in the quality.”

“I bought two of these books for two brothers for Christmas. Freddie plays at number 8 and Ronnie is a goalkeeper in goal at number 1. The book for Freddie was fine, but the book for Ronnie was exactly the same, and it made no sense. The story is all about the player scoring goals for his team, and a goalkeeper rarely, if ever does that. I wouldn't expect every book to be different, but I would have thought that there would be at least three stories, one for goalkeepers, one for defensive players and one for strikers. Ronnie is only 6 but he said at once, "I don't score goals". Because of this I was disappointed with the books, even though I would have to accept that the print quality and presentation was excellent.”

“Love the idea and the way the story is put together but must admit to feeling disappointed with the quality of the product for the price paid - would have expected a hard cover. Feels more like a comic than a book😏”

“Great idea and great quality. I was pleased there was an option to make the star player female as my daughter is football mad. Very disappointed though to realise that the female option doesn’t follow through the story as she’s ends up playing in the men’s team in the story which she will pick up on straight away....and we personalised the message from Santa so she’ll wonder why he got it wrong! So great for boys but I wouldn’t have ordered for my daughter if I had realised.”
