“I placed an order weeks ago with an email saying it had been shipped and I've yet to receive my product. Customer service is horrible they have literally one person, that has been out of the office for weeks now, that can handle this issue. They refuse to get back to me after countless attempts to contact them.”

“Some things I get here have the highest quality I’ve found, but they used to be more reliable. I did not appreciate that they used to sell hand-cracked cashews and continued selling to customers at the same high price without informing them that they were switched to heat-treated cashews (which you can get anywhere, cheaper) and only discreetly changed the label. It used to feel more like a company of ultimate values of their products, but as they grew, that very quickly seemed less in a small but significant way. I still do trust their testing and quality standards and have never found a source of goji berries or Brazil nuts or cacao (though Nativas is good and comes in second to me) that compare. But I actually did start to have issues with the gojis since covid where I actually got really bad ones or bad ones, but they did replace with a good batch when that happened, but prior to covid their berries were always consistently wonderful. They’re still wonderful but had some bad ones in between that needed replaced. Also, if I were to buy something like acai, I would come here. I give a 4.8 star rating for quality of products (have to chip off a little of the 5 star due to the issues I had with some batches of goji berries), but I take away 2 stars for essentially ripping off customers. Yes their stuff is going to be more expensive—quality is—but they didn’t mind flipping the switch on the cashews without truly noting existing customers and without adjusting the price accordingly. And they need to stop charging customers extra so that the company saves money on shipping fees and we don’t even know we’re paying for it. That is mistreatment and lack of appreciation of customers and a lack of integrity that demands a lower rating. However, it’s a company I continue to rely on for some of my staples for a reason and I definitely want them around and want them to continue to be successful, but there is room for improvement. I would be extremely disappointed and at a loss if they went anywhere. And their sun points really help as do their sales, but often the products I need are already sold out when they have a sale so I miss the sale. And I’m early at the sale so it’s easy to speculate that the item or items were already sold out or almost sold out before the sale began. I wish they would have more sales when all or most of their products were in stock like they used to. But I do understand things got a lot crazier since covid, still though. Bottom line, I was disappointed with some of the practices of this company but I think they’re a great source for safe, pure, quality items. I am always a little suspicious of colorful powders though... they need more transparency of what gives something a color because a lot of shady things go on with food powders. One thing a company cannot gave enough of, us transparency. I do know they have very high testing standards last I checked, and that is THE most important thing and main thing that drew me to them and continues to draw me to them.”

“I've been buying your products for years. Though your formulations are superior,they are very expensive. Yet, for their high cost the packaging is quite inferior. The pouches most times do not reclose and I'm forced to put them into an external plastic bag. Also, your only means of shipping offered was Fedex. They are also very expensive yet they were no faster than UPS. My item took a week to arrive. I don't mind paying higher costs for superior service. But I do mind paying higher costs for inferior service.”

“I can rely on Sunfood to have superior offering of items and to stand behind the quality of their products. I was disappointed to see their referral program go away but their customer service has been responsive with providing explanations and further insight on this.
