It's true, full strength vinegar can cause issues with draining. Cleaning with clear water only is perfectly fine, but if necessary, you can also use diluted citric acid or vinegar. Please make sure that it's only in mild form and rinse thoroughly afterwards and you should have a fine working membrane for a long time.

“The diverter is perfect! Exactly as described and the template you send with it is a perfect fit. Easy to follow instructions, even though it is just pictures. I had ordered a diverter from another seller and the urine opening is the size of a dime. Your product is larger allowing for a "flow". I'm very happy.”

“The TROBOLO toilet has made it possible for me to live comfortably in my off-grid tiny home while I figure things out. Delivery was quick—just a few days—and the unit is very well built. At first, I bought the DIY parts, thinking I could build my own toilet to save some money. But I quickly realized it wasn’t as simple as I thought. There was one urine-diverting part not included in the DIY kit, and I believe it’s an essential component.

Easy communication with the vendor, received the kit in two business days. We opted to use our own 5 gallon bucket, rather than the one that came with the kit, as the seat on our outhouse is 20" high, and the bucket was too low to catch the deposits reliably.”
