“Both of my daughters have been swimming with Turtle Tots from around 3 months of age. It has been great to see my eldest grow in confidence in the water through encouragement from teachers. The catch up policy is brilliant as we all know life with children never goes to plan so it is nice to know you never have to miss multiple lessons through illness/grumpiness/holidays. Would highly recommend using Turtle Tots.”

“Although I enjoyed the lessons and hold very special memories of the time with my baby I do not feel they were worth the money. Sadly the venue close to where I live was very poor with the pool often being cold and very small group numbers meaning I was sometimes the only one there. I think at a better pool with a bigger group it would have been fine.”

“I keep being asked for a review again and again, so here it is. The classes are good and I Would recommend them. Unfortunately after two terms they skipped my daughter ahead without asking, and so she was doing swimming unassisted. She did not like this and was not ready for this class. I asked to switch back but my place had been given away. I didn’t think this was good, but to be fair they refunded the whole term and we stopped swimming with them. So a real mixed bag - good lessons but not impressed with it overall. As I say I wasn’t going to write a review, but having been pestered four times, here it I’dlis.”

“I have found turtle tots amazing. They have been easy to book with, the lessons are so interactive for the children and the instructors are lovely and don’t push your children to do anything they don’t want to. My daughter hated swimming before and after her first lesson was jumping in by herself.”

“Great classes and my son loves them. One of the downsides and it’s a fairly big one is the communication between the club and members. Myself and my friend both have issues getting in touch with someone, sometimes waiting over a week for a response. The emails tend to go to my junk/spam but regularly it’s 4 or 5 days for a reply which isn’t ideal when you wish to book make up classes (which doesn’t work on the app) or ask anything. Otherwise the classes are brilliant”

“The classes are great for your little ones! We attend a class at Newquay hydro, and it’s really handy. The changing rooms are right next to the pool making it easy to shower and jump straight in and out. Vicky is so good with the little ones, she remembers all their names and has a little chat with them each week making them feel comfortable. We look forward to swim class each week!”

“Suzi is a great teacher. She's so patient with the kids, and especially accomodating of mine who's often more interested in doing her own thing. My child is so confident in the water and it's largely thanks to turtle tots. The lesson progression/learning new skills from term to term seems rather slow is the only downside.”

“I can’t endorse this enough, as a first time father wanting my daughter to be comfortable swimming from an early age, turtle tots have a fantastic structure to lessons that goes at your child’s pace and isn’t just splashing to songs. The instructors are extremely friendly and the class size give you the right level of support. The online booking system works well and allows you to book absences and catch up sessions. I have tried other company’s and this is the best in my experience”

“We have been going to swimming lessons with Alison at Turtle Tots since my little boy was around 12 weeks old (now 19 months). He loves it so much. His confidence has grown massively (as has mine) and we both look forward to every session. If you’re considering it, do it ! And do it with turtle tots. Amazing facility, teaching and encouragement. LOVE”

“Turtle tots has been fantastic for my daughter. She looks forward to her lessons every week and has great relationship with Melissa our instructor who is brilliant at what she does. Turtle tots isn't isn't pushy and lets children go at their own pace. If there's something they don't want to do, it will be adapted. It's been great to see the progress my daughter has made in the water. In other classes I've been to it has felt as if she wasn't getting anywhere and doing the same thing for months, but at turtle tots the activity's are slightly different every week and I enjoy the variety in each class.”
