“Nice packaging, prompt delivery and tracking. I ordered a chocolate box but did not realise the products varied according to the size chosen. I ordered small but had been looking at the product picture (large). My mistake I guess but the gift recipient commented that it was very expensive for what they received. Won’t use this again. Will go back to Bennetts chocolates next time.”

Thanks for your review! It is correct that the products vary for the different sizes, and the photos and product descriptions change when selected, so you can see exactly what we include with each gift box. We appreciate the feedback regarding the price. Our gift boxes may cost a little more, but it allows us to continue: - Paying a living wage to employees, which is an income necessary to provide our team and their families with the basic necessities of life. On 1 September 2023, this increased from $23.65 to $26 per hour. - Sourcing quality products from small-batch producers and local food heroes in New Zealand, with lots of them not available at major supermarkets. To this date, we have returned more than $1.5 million to local businesses. - Doing what's right for the planet, e.g. exclusively packing all gifts in a reusable wooden box and offering a return scheme. - Supporting local charities, not-for-profits and groups doing good. We set aside 1% from each sale for donations. All of that costs a little bit more, but we think it's worth it. Cheers, The We Love Local team
