“I bought the Retroscope Jump Hour, really like the watch. It is super cool looking and fun to watch the hour change! Silicone band seems durable, I may pick a second band to change up the look.”

“Got the Purple Retrograde and it looks just as expected. However, I haven't really worn it yet as I am waiting to try it on at a coctail party for a destination weeding and I beleive it will be a conversation starter for sure. I'm excited and looking forward to wearing it!”

“My experience with Xeric Watches has been mixed. The company produces watches with great build quality and truly unique designs that most brands wouldn’t even attempt. From a craftsmanship and design standpoint, they really stand out, and when my watch finally arrived, it looked fantastic and came beautifully packaged. My issue comes down to customer service and communication. I placed my order in November and was told the watch would ship before Christmas. By mid-December, I still hadn’t received any shipping confirmation or update, so I reached out myself and was told there were delays and that it would ship later in the month. When that new timeframe passed and I still hadn’t heard anything, I had to contact them a second time for another update. Ultimately, the watch didn’t arrive until mid-January. Delays happen, and I understand that — but having to repeatedly chase updates instead of being proactively informed was frustrating and honestly took away a lot of the excitement of the purchase. It made the process feel uncertain and drawn out when it didn’t need to be. The watch itself is excellent and I’m happy with the quality, but better and more consistent communication would make a huge difference. I’d consider buying again if that improved.”

“I waited since september for my mint timeline retrograde, and while i like the overall build of the case there was two dealbreaking issues. The hour hand on my model runs like 20 mins behind by visual angle. It's really annoying. I suspect this is why switched to the "date window" hour for their newer models. Second, someone put the link pins in backwards which makes it impossible to remove a link. Very strange. I really really wanted to like this watch, and i do love the look of it but seeing he hour marker constantly slow is very frustrating, especially after having waited for so long.”

“My experience with XERIC watches is transcending from a Defective on Arrival experience to a Customer Service success story. My Xeric Regulator Automatic Royal Sand arrived and the hour hand would drift off position through the course of the day. For about 8 hours, the hour hand would be bang on the hour indicator, and then it would lose position to where it was mid point between the hour indicators when the minute hand was at its apex. What time is it? Re-reading the fine print on the return policy, if you remove the plastic wrap encasing the crystal AND the crown (needed to discover this problem) you can no longer return the watch. I was afraid that I was looking at going through the warranty process for a brand new watch. I reached out to Xeric customer service via email (contact@xeric.com) explaining the situation. They replied within one business and asked if I would like a replacement or refund. I am working through the refund process. It took a few days, but I have received detailed instructions and a fully pre-paid postage voucher Canada to the USA that I will be taking to the post office tomorrow. The return process isn't over until the money has been returned to my credit card, but the initial indications are that all will be well. I will update my review upon conclusion. Based on the customer service experience so far, I would definitely reconsider their brand in the future.”

“Timeline Retrograde Prism is a beautiful yet imperfect watch. Hard to see red 00 minutes in dim light, but it's not critical to see. Hard to see date unless looking straight down the "tube". Not enough removable links on the side facing me so small wrists (eg 6.5") the watchface might face away. The clasp is low quality and you can't simply push it closed like all my other bracelet watches, have to press side buttons then push to close. And one of the links does not freely rotate so it kinks. The lume hour indicators are too small to see at night so I won't depend on it overnight. I have never seen the hands "jump" (in the short time I've had it) unless I'm setting the time. Be careful of the restrictions on how to set date and time. Instructions are online only. This is my most expensive watch and if I didn't otherwise love the look of it, I would have returned it because of these issues. On a positive note, the dial is way more intuitive to tell time than I thought it would be. Did not take long to adjust to reading without looking at the minutes. Otherwise the quality is top notch. The Xeric logo, hour markers (aside from lume), shape of case, intuitive crown settings, and overall design are great. This is my second Xeric watch.”
