“ZERO STARS!!!...Absolutely hopeless! Left us without heating or hot water for 42 days over October-November whilst claiming my boiler was 'Beyond Economic Repair' and 'parts are not available anymore'. I ended-up employing my own local engineer and purchasing the part myself- from one of over a dozen on-line suppliers- and getting the whole thing fixed within 3 days for under £240! how is this 'beyond Economic' when compared to a replacement boiler costing £ thousands except that I'd be doing the paying and not 'Yourrepair'. !!!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! They seem to prey on the vulnerable, those without the knowledge, will, or ability to fight back and pursue their rights. Interestingly 'YourRepair' a boiler insurance company who systematically seem to refuse claims and condemn perfectly repairable boilers is owned by the same person who also owns another company 'Hometree' who sell and fit replacement boilers for those which have been condemned as 'Beyond Economic Repair' by 'Yourrepair'... Coincidence??!?!?!!...

“Absolutely horrible. Had a boiler service by the biggest cowboy ,failed my boiler and condemned it pushing for extra work with an rediculous quotation ever and when I questioned his report to your repair customer services I was called a liar basically. I got another company to service my boiler and it passed.”
“Boiler fault, engineer called and arranged a time for next day, excellent so far, the next morning got up for the appointment to repair, turned on my phone email sent at 2343 cancelling the repair. Phone call to them and offered one in 4 days. We had no hot water or heating. Kicked off and an appointment for next day. Boiler repaired, got told not sure if it will last needs more parts, I'll let them know and get it authorised and someone will call. No call chased them up and they know nothing about it. AVOID”
“Terrible customer service - lack of communication, didn't successfully arrange our boiler service and a very poor complaints procedure. Apparently because the service is free as part of the policy it is 'gesture of goodwill' and so they can't refund it, despite not meeting their contractual agreement.
Also, I signed up when there was a deal for a free night's hotel stay, which I never got and they claim to have nothing to do with. Don't get ripped off, steer clear of YourRepair”
“I have been with Your Repair for a few years now, recently I have received the worst service that you would not expect from a provider you’ve been with for years. My boiler control cover was broken on a routine service by their engineer & this was not logged? I noticed this a few months after as there was duct tape holding this on . Now I’ve asked them to fix it they say it’s accidental damage on my part??? & it’s not covered!! I’m totally disgusted that they haven’t got the courtesy to investigate or even give me the customer of a few years benefit of a doubt! I would definitely take pictures of your boilers before they send their contractors out & check the engineers work after to make sure you not left in the same position as me. Very angry 😡”
“DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Engineer took photos of the cistern, said he needed to order the part (a syphon), then Yourrepair stated the area was not clean and there were hygiene issues,so could not do the repair. Sent photos as requested showing this was not the case and they still refused. Spent long phone call requesting to speak to a manager to discuss further, bit Morgan repeatedly refused the request and hung up the phone.”
“Annual service doesn't include the hot water cylinder for system boilers, which is absurd. All boiler warranties require the cylinder to be serviced annually, so if you use this company to have your boiler serviced you'll also need to pay for someone else to come out and service the cylinder separately... which will cost as much as a proper boiler service that includes the cylinder anyway.
This is not made clear at any point in taking out the cover, it only becomes apparent when it comes time to book your service.... which only happens 6+ months after you've taken out the policy. At which point they will inform you that you can't cancel the policy without paying for the rest of it in full.
Complete scam, save your money and use another company that actually includes a proper boiler service.”
“Scammers, cheats and liars. Long story short they use the word "intermittent" in their contract, to avoid paying for faulty valves when they go wrong, probably one of the most common faults. The plumber was embarrassed and has stopped working for them. I recorded his call to them when he was here, then they rang me to tell me why they refused to sort the problem. And lied! When they knew I recorded the call they paid me in full as I did it privately and fixed the problem. Very clever company but for all the wrong reasons. Why MSE lists them I can only assume they pay him! His alternative company in this category is also them under a different name! Scary! 😩”
“Rang on a Thursday after discovering a leak under my boiler. Paid £95 for someone to come out the next day and then after reporting his findings to YouRepair, a further 4 working days went by before they contacted me and stipulated that washers where not covered within the Policy. After reviewing the small print, hardly anything is covered and I am paying £10 a month for poor customer service and a 90% chance of no resolution. It is also worth noting that you will have to do all the chasing in booking in the plumber etc as YouRepair do very little to support the job/problem.
The Boiler service is also not a proper strip down clean service, even though my boiler is in desperate need of one. So I am paying £120 for nothing and I will have to repair all faults with the boiler and a proper service out of my own pocket, their Service guide / promise isn't worth the paper it is written on.
I would cancel if I could, but I am trapped paying for hot air for the next 7 months. Couldn't be more disappointed if I tried. Appalling CS!!”
