“I had a fabulous experience touring with Zealandier Tours. We visited Rotorua and witnessed the geysers and bubbling mud pools, our guide was very knowledgeable and down to earth, making our day very enjoyable.”

“I booked a Lord of the Rings tour with Zealandier in February 2020 from Tauranga to see Hobbiton and other things along the way. I was on a cruise so I saved some money by taking Zealandier instead of the cruise ship's excursions. The tour was not only less expensive, but included more. Our guide was great and went above and beyond what was expected. He made a couple of impromptu stops - at a kiwi fruit farm and a wonderful ice cream shop - which we all appreciated and enjoyed. The only improvement to this wonderful tour would be having the guide enunciate a little better when he was explaining things using the van's microphone. We were mostly North Americans on the tour so sometimes it was hard to understand what he was saying because we weren't used to the New Zealand accent and he was holding the microphone too close to his mouth which made it harder to understand. This is just a minor thing and not everyone was paying attention like I was. I like to learn about things and hear about the local history and stories. All in all, this was a fabulous tour and I highly recommend Zealandier.”

“Unfortunately due to COVID-19 we were unable to travel to New Zealand. Zealandier Tours were very helpful and communicative in dealing with the refund and fully honored their promise to refund if the ship did not dock as planned. We hope to be able to travel to New Zealand in the near future and will definitely be booking the tour with Zealandier again when we do.”

“We booked various excursions via Zealandier but unfortunately needed to cancel them due to the Covid19 outbreak. The staff is very nice and helpful and respond immediately. Also after cancelling they were very quick providing a full refund. Highly recommended!”

“Unfortunately due to New Zealand closing its borders we were unable to visit hobbiton with Zealandier Tours but fair play they reimbursed us straight away. Will be using them as soon as I get chance to go .”

“When cruising around New Zealand my husband and I had the good fortune to enjoy a shore excursion we’d booked with Zealandier Tours to Hobbiton & Rotorua. All on our tour were treated with the utmost courtesy &, as it was an early start, surprised to find we each had an excursion bag packed full of treats on our seats. I was like a kid in a lolly shop! It was a wonderful day out and I would happily recommend Zealandier Tours to my family & friends. Thank you Zealandier, my hubby and I look forward to our next excursion with you when we return to your beautiful country!”

“We actually did two full day tours with them, the Dunedin’s Best Shore Excursion and the Waitomo-Glow-Worm-Cave excursion in Tauranga. Both were excellent and I'd recommend both. We were a couple and while both were supposed to be private tours with members of our Cruise Critic friends. The Dunedin tour ended up being just a shared tour when the numbers couldn't be reached for a private tour. In hindsight, I'd just go with the shared tour as it worked out perfectly for us two. Saw way to much to recount here but we weren't disappointed on any of the many stops along the way, even saw a baby sea lion nursing close up on the Dunedin tour.”

“Great company to use. We took 4 tours with them in January this year. They are friendly, helpful and professional. We were not too happy with the Christchurch Tour but that is not their fault, was just not our cup of tea.”

“Jan was awesome. I mentioned about wanting to see a kiwi farm and she made it possible even if it was not in the itinerary. Since we had time left she drove us to a kiwi farm that was on our way. Had a great experience with her, she made our visit to NZ so educational and fantastic. Tell her hello from Alaska.”

“Excellent service and communication! Jan was able to orgainse a private tour when there was no more seats left to accommodate a group if 6 which was amazing ! Not recommended leaving till the last minute to book though aha but greatly appreciated. Our driver was ontime and nothing was a hassle even with 1 of the party making us late and still got to do everything which was super lucky and the driver was the sweetest man ( Can't remember his name 😓) Semi retired but who obviously loved talking to people and had great charisma which only made the experience better with all his facts and information along the way. Couldn't recommend this company more if they paid me !”

“We were travelling on a cruise in April. I wanted to make the most of our stop in Tauranga and after researching multiple companies we chose Zealander Tours as the best offering and value for Hobbiton & Rotarua. Sadly the cruise was cancelled. Zealander tours were excellent in providing a full refund. The staff were wonderful in the midst of such an unforeseen event and we really hope to make it back soon so we can take that tour. Thanks and best wishes from Aussie Cruisers.”
