I had a bad ankle sprain and started researching things to help prevent that in the future and started reading about strengthening the Tibialis as one of many ways to help. Experimented with some of the bodyweight version and a homemade Tib Bar but wasn't thrilled with either as it was tough to progress/load. This unit has been great. Had it for about a month. Been using it twice a week for 3-5 sets and can really tell a difference in my lower leg strength. The unit allows for a really deep stretch (toes away) and then as muscle fatigues you can either do partial reps or you can lean over and give some assistance with the hands to contract. Kind of funny to have this kind of isolation machine in my single car garage home gym but I am overall happy with the product. Pro Tip - Get some 25-pound plates that you can load on. The Titan Cast Iron plates are 273mm (10.75 inch) in diameter and probably have 3/8 of inch of clearance between the ground.
