I like the weight of this blanket. I do believe that a weighted blanket helps one sleep better. It feels secure. This blanket is nicely made and shipped as promised. No smell. Seems to be quality made. I've been using it for about two weeks and find myself thinking, "how did I do without?"I ordered the dark grey. I will probably order a second one for my adult son.
