The Rock Tour - Ayers Rock To Alice Springs (3 Days And 2 Nights) Reviews

4.5 Rating 77 Reviews
The scenario is incrediblly beautiful! The tour was really nice, exactly how it is described. It is a very big distance, you need to be prepared to stay long hours on the road. We went back to Ayres Rock in the fourth day, it would be better to fly from Alice Springs, but we bought a cheaper flight back from Uluru. Expect to wake up early, to walk in a wonderful red world and to sleep under the stars.

The pick-up was messy because off broken vans. After that strange beginnings, the organization, the walks, the guide, the meals and the camps were good.

This tour was great - I met a lot of awesome people, learned a lot about aboriginal culture, and got to hike in some amazing places. The food was okay, but not great. there were, however, snacks provided about halfway through and after each hike to keep your energy levels up. Also, the description on this site says swags are individual tents, but they're actually bedrolls, and VERY uncomfortable. I may not have slept well, but I didn't go to the outback to sleep!

It was a great experience. The best tour we did during our travel to Australia and New Zealand. Our guide and coach driver was fantastic. We enjoyed doing it with backpackers. We had great weather and sleeping outside beside the fire was special. We will recommand that tour to our friends.

Loved it, this was a bit of a budget tour which suited me to a tea. The guides really knew their stuff when it came to the history and geology.

The tour is a great way to explore the Outback! We had a really fun guide who forced us to get up early in the morning so we could see all the incredible things before the midday heat hit us. It is a real outdoor adventure and one of the most beautiful memories of Australia.
