“I’m not sure where to start. The places we went were great, but I also noticed, that those are places all the other tours go, so that’s doesn’t really make this tour special compared to others. Our tour guide, Andrew, was horrible. He had a terrible attitude, he didn’t care at all. He was rude and impolite. I tried to just think of him as our ride, but he was just the gift that just kept on giving and his mood got worse everyday. He mentioned that he was leaving soon, but that is still no reason to make 20 people’s once in a lifetime experince a bad one. I’m so sad I didn’t choose another company, not because of the tour itself, but his mood just ruined a lot and looking at the other tours, they had so much fun with their guide and it made me sad we didn’t get that experience”
“I loved it! It was the perfect tour for such a beautiful place. I had great expectations, and they were exceeded.
Great group and an Ewel was an excellent guide. I've learned a lot about Uluru, Anangu people and their culture.”
“The 3 day trip was amazing, beautiful sights and lot of fun. Andrew is a great guide, very knowledgeable about the Anangu culture and history and also about the nature.
It is a backpacker trip so expect sleeping bags, helping with cooking and doing dishes.
I would definitely go again! Uluru is a must see! And you won't forget the stars during the nights!
As the drive from Kings Canyon to Alice Springs is 6h, I would recommend to fly in/out of Ayers Rock and have the tour starting and finishing there as you will save yourself 6h on a bus. I had to fly out of Alice Springs so had no other option.”
“I would call it the beauty of the untouched nature. Amazing tour, amazing guide, amazing group, amazing places. Thank you, i never had such a good time, never saw anything better!”
“Hi there,
We had a great time visiting Uluru and around! The nature was really impressive, the group was a nice mix of fun people and the guide did a good job in leading the group, telling all about the history, driving us around and cooking the meals. I found the itinerary well ballanced and would recommend it to others.
The major drawback of the tour was the fact that the guide had to fix everything by himself. The job package is heavy and takes from the early morning to late in the evening (4:30AM - 10PM). Such a long work day is actually not legal in our country. The tasks to be done require at least a guide and an assistant. A team of 2 could really take the tour to the next level and would make the job for the guide feasible and the experience for the group much better. It would also increase safety on the trip.
Looking forward to your comments.
Kind regards,
Jasper

“Guide was very knowledgeable, clear with rules and full of energy. The only thing I wasn't too happy with was that he constantly played loud music in the bus when everybody else wanted to sleep (perhaps use ear phones next time? :) ). Hikes were great and we were given lots of interesting info. Unfortunately very little food during the tour, only cereal, toast, weetbix & tea/coffee for breakfast and then perhaps some crackers or an apple/a few orange cloves after the 3 h hikes and lunch could be hours later. Dinner was ok! Drinking water always available, although warmed up after a few hours. Once we had to help out collecting wood for the bond fire and although there was a risk to get splints full of rust under the skin, we weren't given gloves. Slept in swags under the stars which was hot and not very comfortable and also hard to relax when one is not used to camping, so didn't get much sleep. Great though to get up and start hiking early before it became to hot. All in all the tour was hot, spartan and hectic but we experienced Uluru, Kata Tjuta and King's Canyon and made new friends and that made it well worth it!”
