“We had a great time on this trip. Our guide Geordie was awesome, he talked us through a lot of the history of the region throughout the walks, cooked all our meals (including catering for veggies and for allergies), and did a ridiculous amount of driving!
Don’t expect 5* luxury, but it’s what seeing the red centre should be about - sleeping under the stars, getting up in time for the sunrise, and pitching in to help with the dishes once everyone has eaten!
The music in the van was good (people were also welcome to play their own music), and the tour wasn’t too large either, around 20 to a bus. It’s the perfect way to make sure you get a good snapshot of the outback if you are limited on time and money, and the option to fly into Uluru and out of Alice Springs is really useful as it means less driving time.
