Squirrel Proof Classic Bird Feeder with Pole and Squirrel Baffle Reviews

4.8 Rating 249 Reviews
The Birds Choice - Classic Feeder w/Squirrel Baffle and Pole is a simple, classic looking bird feeder. Assembly was extremely easy. The installation was also easy. The only tools needed were a hammer/mallet and a wooden block. The ground here is hard, if your ground is soft, you may want to use cement. So far, the squirrels have not been able to raid it. I do have a tub of shortening to grease the pole if necessary. I swear the squirrels here must be Mensa members. But again, I have not had to resort to that. So far, so good! The birds love it and my husband and I have been enjoying watching the birds. TWO THUMBS UP!

We have bought many bird feeders to deter the squirrels and they've all failed tremendously, until I got this bird feeder! No more squirrels getting into the feeder! It actually works! Made of durable plastic and a steel pole, easy to put together and easy to add food for the birds! Great product! Will recommend!

This is very simple, easy to put together. You really just need to make sure your ground is wet/soft enough to make a hole. Lightweight, other than the metal components, easy to put together. No fuss or frills. Just an effective, easy-to-use bird feeder. I’d like to see squirrels try to get up this thing. We don’t have a lot of trees near my house, so squirrels aren’t a problem.

After receiving my Classic Feeder w/Squirrel Baffle and Pole we couldn’t wait to set it up so we could watch the baby birds and squirrels came to check it out. My twin granddaughters who are 3 yrs old love to look out the windows and what the birds land in the yard so this is even a bigger deal. The quality and and value are great as I get to watch out the windows myself . Definitely recommend this to everyone.

I finally was able to put in this feeder I received a few weeks back, as the ground was hard for quite some time. The instructors are great and good tip about using a piece of wood to hammer in the pole to the ground. Please make sure you follow this step. Easy to put together, holds a lot of seed (s). I like the fact it has an insert to control the seed at the dispensing 'windows'. Helps keep the seeds from flying out when you refill it but also when the birds land on it. So far no squirrels, I am excited. Sturdy as can be, really like seeing it in my yard. Birds of course love it. I fill it with the black-oiled sunflower seeds but you can use a variety of seeds with it. Easy to clean as you just lift it off the pole and undo the top. I also like the fact it keeps the seeds dry from the rain. Overall very pleased with this product. Keep in mind when you pick your 'spot' keep it away from branches or trees or other things the squirrels can 'launch' off of. (I have seen it with other feeders, the squirrels can jump quite a distance).

I'm so excited about this bird feeder. It holds up to five pounds of bird seed and is squirrel proof. I really like the idea of no water being able to get inside. It's sturdy and stands on a pole and made to last. Very excited to see all the birds feeding on it

We recently set this up in the side yard where an old tree had came down. Birds started coming to it with in a few days and seem to be enjoying it quite alot. I like the length of the post it came with. It keeps it high off the yard so squirrels are less likely to go after it and the cats havent seemed to take any mind to the birds landing on it. It appears that it will hold up well to the weather.

This is the best bird feeder I’ve ever owned! Very sturdy and easy to set-up. It holds 5 pounds of seeds and it’s been awesome watching the different types of birds visit. And one of the best parts is NO squirrels!
