“I am really enjoying this new bird feeder. We cleared a lot of the trees from around the house since we live on the coast and hurricanes and trees don't mix. So, when i was offered this one to review I was so excited. Fortunately, it lived up to my expectations. The pole allows you to place it directly into the ground. No tree needed. The pole is also thick and solid. It is not bendy at all. I needed a wide flat hammer to get it into the ground, and then the feeder gets placed on top. The top of the feeder comes off to fill it. It's a wide opening, so easy to fill. It rocks, so making it a lot harder for squirrels to get into it. So far we have only seen birds feeding from it, which is awesome. Since the feeder lifts off thr pole, it will be a breeze to bring in when a large storm approaches. Can't find any negatives. It really exceeded my expectations!”
“Recently got a Classic Feeder with Squirrel Baffle and Pole. It works as advertised! The squirrels have not been able to take over this feeder. It came completely assembled so all I had to do was put the poles into the ground and fill it with birdseed. Placed it so I can watch from the front window, and within an hour I saw chickadees, goldfinches, sparrows and juncos. I followed the directions in setting it up and the only suggestion I have for improvement would be to put a point on the end of the pole that goes in the ground. I couldn't pound the pole deep enough myself and a point might help. All in all I'm very happy with this feeder.”
“Really nice and good quality bird feeder. I wanted a new feeder for our backyard and this is perfect. I put it closer to our fence, but thinking about moving it to the middle. Really easy to put together! Comes with 3 extension poles so you can adjust how high you want it to be. I have it higher up on the hill so 2 poles were enough. I only hope that the birds will find it soon because I love watching them. We are surrounded by trees and squirrels are everywhere, so this being squirrel proof is perfect! Highly recommended! Oh and hold large amount of bird feed so you don’t have to refill very often.”
“This bird feeder is easily set up. It actually does keep out the squirrels. Adding the bird feed is simple. I’ve watched birds gather and eat, every morning, since putting it in my back yard. It’s made of sturdy materials and I believe it’ll last for many years. There’s nothing flimsy or cheap about the bird feeder.”
