“Love this classic bird feeder. We put it in the back yard and as soon as we did we had some birds to come. It was a beautiful day. So of course a squirrel got a little curious only to find out he would have to go somewhere else to find his meal today. right now it's only a few birds out, can hardly wait for spring time.”

After installing the pole in the ground, the feeder is pretty sturdy and looks like wind should not be an issue. “It was much bigger than what I thought it would be. It comes with three long rods that can be used to sustain the weight of the feeder of the top. Due to how big this is and the long rods, we only used one of them so it can withstand the winds and its easier for my height to fill the feeder. I like the look of it and cant wait to see birds feeding off of it!”

“I got to figure out within a few days whether this kept the squirrels at bay and happy to say no squirrels successful in getting the seed. On several occasions they were able to climb up the pole to the bottom of the feeder but since there is another foot they were unable to reach and after a second on the pole you could see their feet slipping on the pole and they would immediately jump off. They like to get the seeds that fall off the ground and that's fine by me as long as the birds can eat in peace!”
