“I recieved this product months ago and have had in my back yard. The birds don't seem to have a problem eating the food out of it, we have some pretty fat dove out here know. Haven't had any issues with any other animals.”
“No squirrels or pests. Birds come and go and feel comfortable. I've enjoyed it tremendously. No gimmicks as to how to keep squirrels away. Only drawback is the quality of the metal. It's starting to rust.”
“We love this feeder and so do the birds. Squirrels cannot figure out how to get any food from it. The only bad thing is it's maybe 2 years old and the green wrap around the bottom is totally rusty up the seam and around the bottom. For the price I paid I thought it would last longer without looking really ugly.”
“I absolutely love this feeder! It is large enough that I don’t need to refill so often and since it is truly squirrel proof, that helps as well. It is constructed well so I can move it to different areas of my yard without it falling apart when I do. The birds and I both love it!”
“I have really enjoyed having this in my backyard. We see all kinds of birds throughout the day coming to snack. The feeder has a good capacity; I bought a 5-pound bad of food and almost all of it easily fit into the feeder. After about a month and a half, the feeder is still about half full of seed. The top comes off and it’s easy to refill. It was quick and easy to install, we did have two people to make easy work of it, though one person probably could have done it too. I have noticed an increase in wildlife activity outside of just birds. We have raccoons in our yard every night now. They eat the seeds the birds drop, dig around the base of the feeder, and try to climb the feeder. I have also had a few squirrels poking around the feeder. They have climbed the pole but have not figured out how to access the food. Bunnies also like the dropped seeds. The window is plastic, and the rest is metal. It’s very sturdy and well built.”
“There are three reasons I like this bird feeder better than any other we’ve ever had: 1) It is really easy to set up. It took under 5 minutes and it hasn’t budged through a couple of very wind storms. Having it in the ground is so much better than trying to hang it somewhere. Which leads me to … 2) Because you secure it in the ground and how it is designed, it holds a lot of bird seed. I remember getting annoyed having to go refill a bird feeder hanging in our tree. It was cumbersome and I had to do it every few days. Now I’m good for weeks. 3) We don’t have squirrels, but we have a lot of large crows which cannot use this feeder because the pegs are too small. They tried for the first couple of weeks, but gave up. They can break other feeders, or just sit in the tree to eat, depending on where we have placed the feeder. This bird feeder solves those problems. The only con would be that it isn’t the most attractive bird feeder. But, let’s be honest, it’s really there so you can look at the beautiful birds.”
