A bit about our chocolate biscuits
Our biscuits are our own unique recipe, based upon traditional twice baked English style biscuits. Its texture is somwhere between the snap of a gingerbread and the crumble of a shortbread. Our chocolate bake uses rich cocoa powder to give a luxurious, chocolatey taste.

“Apparently the biscuit was delicious and well received by my friend. Unfortunately she says she searched the box for a note and couldn't find one, so she had no idea who it came from until I asked her awkwardly if she had received it. So- good product but not worth it if your message never arrives with it (or is not obvious enough in the packaging)”

Hi Christa, thank you for your review. We are so pleased to hear your friend enjoyed her biscuit. With our gift notes, the message is written inside a decorative “open me” card which is attached to the parcel box inside a clear envelope. We are not able to process our orders without this card as it also contains an order number to allow us to match orders with our postal slips. It is disappointing to hear that your friend did not receive her gift message. We understand that many of our orders are sent as gifts and therefore how important the gift message option is. “The one reason for my low score is the size of the card, I expected this to be a standard kind of birthday card size, A5 perhaps but it was almost credit card sized and was a little disappointing albeit the quality was good and packaging was lovely.”
