I bought 4 narrow (28") but long (84") blinds for full glass french doors. I didn't want to deal with a cord on the doors. The blinds give me the shade I need but don't fully retract (12") when raised. So be aware of this fact.

I'm sorry that you are having problems with your cordless shades. The cordless cellular shades are designed to be self-correcting. To reset your cordless shades: Lower the shade down to its full height. Firmly hold the bottomrail with both hands and pull it towards you (away from the back of the window at an angle). Quickly and firmly pull down (popping) on the bottomrail 3 or 4 times. Raise and lower the shade, repeat as necessary. These steps should reset the cordless motors in the headrail so that the shade will raise and lower properly. If these steps do not work, please let us know and we will remake or repair the shades as needed. I will call you directly to help you reset the shades.

These shades look great and installed easily and my only complaint is you have to work them up. They don't just slide up easily. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on them as I used them in a sleeping cottage that doesn't get used much. So for that reason they are fine and look great.
