“I am giving it 5 stars because it was exactly what I was looking for, and is so far working just as hoped. I went with the cordless darker faux wood, as we loved the look of them online, and didn't want complete black out for my 2 teenagers' rooms. This fits the bill. They actually are quite beautiful and have decent quality. Once I figured out the install they were pretty easy to install. USE DIFFERENT SCREWS ... hint.. hint... hint. The ones they sent just did not work with our flashing on our windows for where I wanted to install, so I used shorter screws to stabilize the anchor (less than $2) and then put longer ones to stabilize more. If you can hold and squeeze a power drill, then seriously you can install these. On some of the brackets the little sticker to hold the bracket in place was a little wimpy. (This was not a deal breaker, since it's only meant to help a little with the install, but hey, they could improve that a little.) Blindster's customer service was great with their communication and even double checked our measurements etc. I am hoping these blinds stand up to our intense morning sunlight come summer, but after seeing them, even though they are decent quality, I would probably not trust them to our crazy intense afternoon sun (that can melt paint), on the other side of our house. “Beautiful blinds at a reasonable price. This was the second time using Blindster with 100% satisfaction. One of the blinds on my previous order had an issue after about 18 months and they replaced it almost immediately with out any hassle. Great customer service.”

“Although I gave you a 5, the correct rating should be a little lower due to the length of the rod used to open and close the blind. The window is located over the sink and is too short for the average lady to reach at only 10" in length. Fourteen inches would work better.”
