“My fault-I didn't read enough about the shade that the valance was only available with the original order, but now I have to either replace entirely, put up a curtain or leave it looking unfinished. A warning when I went to checkout would have been a good thing.”

“The room darkening shades are great. They fit perfectly and are heavier than the stock shades that you get at Penneys, Lowes,etc. Years ago they were OK but their quality went downhill. I'm so glad I decided to try something new online.They're very well made. I was able to use the same brackets that I used on my old shades. I have double hung Andersen windows with heavy wide molding around them. My narrow brackets actually go into the molding.It's slightly over an inch.I took a chance since I was told I would probably have to use the ones that come with the shade. They did not fit my molding.They sell smaller brackets that would accommodate these shades if you don't have the minimum clearance.”

“The measurements were accurate but when the shade came it was a mere fraction long which didn't allow me to mount the shade into the brackets. They say you can return their products if they don't fit but given how long it took to receive the original, I chose to grind the metal rod down myself until I was able to get it into the brackets. This made the installation processes take a couple of hours (the directions weren't very clear either). Also the chain mechanism that raises and lowers the shade doesn't operate very well at all.”
