“They were great as far as black out goes, except they didn't preform. They wouldn't retract. Why would a company send a product that wasn't tested first”

I'm sorry you weren't happy with your shades. Every shade is tested before shipping and I apologize that something went wrong with your order. We have issued a refund for this order and asked the factory to pick them up for inspection. I apologize for the inconvenience.

“We had to order a larger size, and it was noted on the website that it was going to have a seam which is understandable. However, the craftsmanship of the seam was not clean, it was uneven and the holes allow light through. Also, there was a small puncture hole in the shade too. After installation, the metal beaded chain/lift does not go smoothly up or down making me believe this will not last long. When the blind does roll up, the vinyl edge rolls into the mount wheels and cause the vinyl to kink up into the teeth which will destroy the edge of the vinyl very quickly unless I manually guide it up with one hand while pulling the chain with the other. It does block out the light well minus the seam and defect holes. The room does get hotter if it's kept down all day according to our thermostat, even though its blocking the light, it's keeping the heat in the room.”

“PLASTIC AND HAD A SEAM IN IT -- a bed sheet would have been better. NO WHERE in the description does it read that the shade will not be in one piece. Image how TACKY it looks having a huge seam in the middle of your shade ................”

“i love them. i read and re read the measuring directions (and adjusted my measurements :) ) and got the perfect fit. the blinds cover my window in their entirety with no light leakage, they were easy to hang, i did it myself with a screw gun, one on wood, one on plaster. they roll up and hide behind the valences for day and come down at night”

“My wife and I ordered five vinyl roller blinds, with valances, with metal pull chains, and plain bottom hem. For some reason, the order was recorded incorrectly: some of the blinds came with metal chains, some with plastic beaded chains, and one (the largest blind) didn't have a valance. I was SURE I ordered them correctly, but when I double-checked the order as shown on my Blindster account, it had the mix of chain types and the valance/no valance mix. No matter. Kim in customer service was great. She had replacement metal chains shipped to me for the three blinds hat came through with plastic chains, and under Blindster's "fit-or-free" guarantee had a new blind produced for me with a valance to replace the one that came without it. The only uncharge was for the valance itself, of course. Kim was easy to reach by phone and email. Can't say enough about this great customer service. The blinds themselves look great, and we really like the look of the valances. (We did an inside-frame mount.) Fit was snug, which is actually nice, because it minimizes the light gap at the side of the blinds. We'll shop here again.”
