The shade itself is fine, but the installation was ridiculously difficult. It was so tight we had to fight to get it in. The lift cord stop allowed several inches of shade to hang down when the shade was as far up as it would go. There were no instructions on how to fix this, so we tried one thing after another. If we set it so that the shade is entirely rolled up, it wouldn't roll back down. We finally compromised, because we were so frustrated that it was no longer worth the effort.

I'm sorry you had a problem with your shades. It is very important that you order roller shades using the width of the actual opening at the top of the window (only). I'm glad you were able to make the width work. The shade not being roller up properly is usually something that you can fix. I will contact you to see if that is possible. If not, we will remake the shade for you.

The order was very competitively priced. It came in the time frame that was stated. The material looks quite good: adequate for our purposes. The sizing was good except for one shade that was about 3/16 off and needed to be shimmed for installation. While the installation was fairly straight forward, it was a bit of a concern when there were absolutely no installation instructions included. All in all, we were pleased with our purchase. They are large shades . Hopefully the chain hardware will hold up. We'll let you know! Thanks for the prompt service. Chuck Ives, pastor.

We received the seven shades in the time predicted by the company. They were exactly to the measurements and look good. One of the shades was rolled so that it went up more to one side than the other and obstructed the attachment at the top but we let it down over half way and worked carefully to get it up better. Still not perfect but it will work. The rest are fine.

I have called a couple of times asking a couple of different questions about items. Both times I was told that I would hear back from blindster via e-mail but never have got any response, one of my questions was answered after I called a second time asking about it. but still waiting to know what is going on with the other.

The blinds were easy to install. Measurements were correct. They have no odor to them like many vinyl products. I still think they are pretty expensive for ordinary shades.

With great reviews I expected better! The plastic is nice enough but the fringe is very shoddy with loose threads at the ends and a loop haging almost 2 inches below the fringe. Hope it doesn't unravel the rest if cut. There is also a brown thread sewn into my ivory fringe which looks like a very small stain but isn't. There were 2 small globs of gray glue on the shade itself which I scraped with my nail. Tried to wipe residue with damp towel but two spots remain. Want to know safe removal method. I tried to fit this shade on my old brackets but is was at least 1/4" short. To avoid hassle of return, I waited for installer who also put up roman shades ordered later. Used one of the brackets which came with the shade. The other was for the wrong side but he was able to use my old bracket on the right side. The gap between the wall and the shade using blindster bracket is about 1". Gap on right side smaller with old mount. Like material and reverse roll option. Don't buy ugly fringe!
