“Quality blind. Fast service. Fit perfectly. Nice discount at checkout. Gonna keep the sunlight out on Sundays when football is on. Pretty sturdy for being 8ft long. Definitely does blackout the room.”

“Not what I expected. It's chintzy. The "hardware" is all plastic. The hem has a sewn-in stick across the bottom and the stick is visible. And the hem has a hard fold line at the top of the stick. I reason I am keeping the shade is because I will be ironing on a beautiful print fabric on the front. And I'll be removing the stock and replacing it with drapery weight stringer.”

“This will be first review I decided to comment om. I Fond Blindster while looking for something reasonable for my appartment. I received and broke to clutches ( the thing that rolls the shade) and received replacements promptly. The customer service was exceptional. The quality and once I figure out how the to hang them was excellent and quick. My measurement was off maybe -1/4 did a little adjustment and it has made apartment look like a little mason”

“First the install instructions don't include crucial information such as the exact width of the brackets from the blinds material. This made centering it with external mount extremely time-consuming and far more difficult than it needed to be. As for the blinds themselves, the rolling mechanism is awful, doesn't lock up when you want it to, then locks when you're trying to roll up. The claim that the material is 'fabric' is an outright lie, it's just vinyl. The roller core is just weak cardboard which immediately started bending in the middle so it doesn't roll smoothly. Upon replacing the first one, the second one was worse. The pin mechanism was broken out of the box, after I replaced that with the existing one, the blinds made screeching noises upon rolling up and down.. which I was unable to fix with WD-40 so I put the old flawed one back up. It is such a mess of a product I wouldn't trust buying anything from Blindster again, huge mistake and waste of time.”

I'm sorry you had a problem with your roller shade. I do show in our notes that we are having a new blind sent to you that should work properly. If not, we will issue a refund or get you a different product. This fabric is a polyester blend, not vinyl. The only vinyl shades on our site are clearly labeled as such. I will contact you after your new blind is delivered to make sure everything is OK.

“I had ordered a few blinds, then decided to buy another but it ended up being the wrong one. I made a call and they ordered the correct and sent it right out. Was happy with customer service. Love the shades.”
