“I purchased 3 shades. One was defective; the right side string was not attached so the right side of the shade fell free. There was no damage, it was just not made correctly. Since these shades were for a rental property, it caused me to have to make a second trip to the property to install the replacement shade (about an hour drive each way). The shades were nice looking and easy to install. However, this does make me wonder about the quality control during the manufacturing process.”

“The customer service rep that assisted in placing my order was patient and knowledgeable. She made the ordering process so easy. The blinds arrived ahead of schedule. The box with the installation hardware was a little intimidating at first but the directions provided step by step instructions. With only a pencil, ruler, cordless drill, and a screwdriver bit for my drill, I had 3 windows covered in less than 1 hour!! The best part....they look great!!”

“Good but i ordered 1 blind a little different measure than 2 others, just by 1/4 inch but it mattered to me and yet all were cut and marked same width. The squeeze tab to lift up and down was a feature I did not know about but works ok. I will buy again but hope next time they are cut to my measurements”

Hi Aaron, I apologize for the blinds being about 1/4 inch off. In production, our factory deducts between 1/8 and 1/2 inch off the window measurements we are provided to ensure the shades fit in the window. “We moved into our new home in the country 4+ years ago & the the first thing I did was remove the curtains, then during the past year I have removed all of the wood blinds that were 10+ years old & deteriorating & hard for older hands to raise & lower. I have been replacing them with cellular shades & just placed my order for the last room to finish our whole house window treatment redo & we love the cellular shades, price & great customer service of Blindster.com Easy to order & great selection.”
