“I have sent three messages in two weeks asking how to order just grommets , becasu eit is not a stand alone item. At this point I have not even unpacked because it is a big deal to reorganize the entire home office.”
“After a month, I still haven't received anything. I sent an email and asked why shipment delayed such a long time. The reply is the order was lost. I have to say the experience is terrible.”
“I've used an Uplift v2 (non-commercial) and other cheaper sit/stand desks. They were all annoyingly wobbly so I decided to try VertDesk v3 and I couldn't be happier. It is hands down the most stable desk I've used. Sure it will wobble a bit when I'm really leaning on it but it's nowhere near any of the other brands.
Some minor things BTOD could improve:
- The programmable buttons require the button to be held down to get to the preset. I like Uplift's controls which complete the move with one press without having to hold it down.
- Programming the presets is kinda tricky (up up up up, up/down, M1). I usually have to refer to the manual because I forget the magic sequence.
Overall, the VertDesk v3 is great and it would be my first choice if I needed another desk.”
“Assembly was easy but I built my own top and the instructions for using your own top were sparse. For the price I expected a more solid unit with a faster, quieter motor.
Working with Btod was excellent at every step. I had a question early on and needed help to get the unit working properly with my own top -- both of these calls were easy with super-knowledgeable people.”
“This base is by far one of the most solid offerings out there. It is very stable and very fluid in motion. The instructions are very straight forward. If you purchase the base with a top, the top will come with pre-drilled holes. If you're using your own surface, assembly will be more time consuming. You'll need to be precise, and you'll need to be patient because you'll need to measure and mark your own hole locations. This is my second desk. The motor on this one is a little noisy when lowering, but it's not a deal breaker. Overall I'm happy with it.”
“This is a really sturdy and well made set of legs. At full height with a butcher block top my desk feels rock solid. There is only a slight wiggle as I type at this highest setting, but nothing distracting and there is NO feeling of instability. If you are large and sometimes a klutz, like me then this might be for you. I am big and heavy, and leaning against it to write, using it as a leg rest at lower settings, or whatever all feels solid.
I paired it with a birch worktop from Woodcraft, which come un finished. The result is 27x60 and looks nice. The programmable settings are nice and worth the extra money.
These have a nice clean and modern look and the motor is not loud or distracting.
Construction is top notch, everything fits nicely together, and the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Every piece of hardware, and I mean everything, is carefully labeled in its packaging and properly referenced in the instructions.
The packing for these legs was also really well executed and arrived in good condition despite FedEx's efforts.”
