Hi there,
Thank you for the kind words! We’re glad the NewHeights Elegante XT desk is sturdy and meets your needs. If you need anything else, we’re here to help.
Warm regards,
Team BTOD
“Well constructed and stable. The electronics work great and are reliable. I move the desk up and down every day. It is also very stable. I bought the 72" desk and appreciate the roominess. High quality, well-made, and solid. Happy with my purchase.”
“The NewHeights Elegante XT, made by RightAngle/RA, is an excellent desk all around. The size chosen was 30 inches x 48 inches.
The legs feel strong and solid. The desk itself feels very stable and solid in the sitting position, as well as in the standing position.
I ended up with the upgraded programmable controls which are easy to use and store your sitting and standing settings for quick switching.
I also opted out for the lower metal cross bar option which in my opinion is very important and adds stability and sturdiness to the desk.
I previously ordered the iMovr Lander desk which had high reviews online. However, the Lander table ultimately does not have an option for a cross bar and hence was slightly wobbly at the standing position based on my experience.
After returning the iMovr Lander table, I got the RA Elegante XT desk from BTOD which is the desk I am still using now. Yes, the Elegante XT model is a bit more expensive, but it is worth the extra amount.
The RA Elegante XT apparently also comes with top metal cable organizer as part of its desk design. That metal cable organizer also acts as a top cross bar which further adds to the overall stability of the desk.
I had some questions before making the purchase, and BTOD took the time to help with the answers.
Very happy with this Sit Stand riser desk purchase and with the customer service.”
“I ordered the Elegante XT but when it was backordered I changed my order to buy the hand-cranked Vuelta. I'm glad I did, since my table will mostly stay at the same height (I have two computers, one I sit at, one I stand at). The quality is very good. The tabletop looks like HDF, very sturdy and heavy. The legs also look very strong. It reminds me of my AnthroCart computer desk that I bought 25 years ago and still use every day.
OK, the cranking. It takes 108 cranks and 90 seconds to go between the extremes in height (distance of 20"). That's about 5.4 cranks per inch. My wife may use the table at standing height too, and cranking up or down a few inches is doable. But probably not for standing to sitting multiple times a day. The Levante table has some kind of assist that makes cranking more feasible.
I'm very pleased with the table overall, and it works well for my work scenario.”
