“I recently purchased a refurbished Steelcase Leap V2 office chair from BTOD, and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision. From the moment I unwrapped the chair, it was evident that BTOD takes great care in their refurbishing process.
First and foremost, the chair looks and feels brand new. The upholstery is clean, free of any blemishes or signs of wear, and the overall construction is sturdy and reliable. The Steelcase Leap V2 is renowned for its ergonomic design, and this refurbished model lives up to its reputation. The lumbar support and flexible backrest ensure that I can maintain a comfortable and healthy posture throughout long workdays. And it is not an overly large chair but is a perfect size for my office.
One of the standout features of this purchase was the significant cost savings compared to buying a brand-new Steelcase Leap V2. BTOD's commitment to quality in their refurbishing process allows customers like me to enjoy a top-tier office chair without breaking the bank. It's a fantastic option for those who want the benefits of a high-end chair without the premium price tag.
Additionally, I appreciate the attention to detail in the packaging and shipping process. The chair arrived promptly and was well-protected, showcasing BTOD's dedication to customer satisfaction.
Overall, my experience with the refurbished Steelcase Leap V2 from BTOD has exceeded my expectations. It's a smart investment for anyone looking to upgrade their office chair without compromising on quality. I highly recommend BTOD for their reliable refurbishing process and their commitment to providing customers with affordable, high-quality seating solutions.”
“When I first received this chair I honestly felt a bit guilty...I thought, "did BTOD accidentally send me a new chair and charged me half price for it lol?" Perhaps because this is my first Steelcase chair; I don't have much to compare to how brand new Steelcase chairs look, but man did I notice the quality in this thing. I couldn't find a scratch, ding or imperfection of any kind on the frame or in the Vinyl upholstery I requested. So the quality of the chair is here; and I was extremely pleased with BTOD's quality of service in this regard. The chair itself is often reported to have a firm seat which hurts people's tailbone. The chair I owned prior to this one was a Secretlab Titan Evo 2022...which felt like sitting on a stone bench. Trust me friends; there are very uncomfortable seats that exist out there; and the Leap V2, at least in my opinion is not one of them. The problem I had initially was the Leap V2 was giving me lower back pain. I initially thought it was the adjustable lumbar support which I ended up removing. This provided some relief but the pain persisted. I thought about returning the chair; but didn't want to end up ordering another and be in a cycle of constant returns. I bit the bullet and stuck with the Leap. Friends this chair is designed to improve your posture and will punish you (albeit not as bad as the Aeron) if you resist it. Regrettably all the years of cheap chairs and that ridiculous Evo did my back/posture no favors; which is one of the reasons the Leap was causing me pain. I've had the chair a little over a month now and the pain still exists, but not as bad. My posture has dramatically improved to a point where people say I look taller now because i'm standing more upright. I'm not going to suggest anyone pass their 30 day return window to risk adjusting to it as I have; but as the saying goes; no pain, no gain. My body has mostly adjusted to this chair which I hope will last me for the next 10 years before I look for another.”
“To make it function properly, I had to watch videos, go buy a tool, take the chair apart, and make an adjustment that could have been done by BTOD. After I fixed it, the chair is nice.”
“Height adjustment for the chair doesnt work so I am stuck on the smallest setting also the cap for upper back adjustment doesnt fit also is an insane hassle to return it back and would rather take the $600 hit”
“Despite the rave reviews of this chair, I don't like it. The armrests are very thin and don't have any squish. The armrests also do not lock in place so any pressure on them moves them; it's a constant battle. After only two weeks of daily use I can already feel the metal base under the seat cushion. That doesn't scream quality. BTOD says they add 1/2" hard foam as part of their refurb process but I have a hard time believing that. I'm under 6', under 200lbs so I'm not outside the realm of typical user. My previous generic office chair lasted 10 years and I feel this Leap might last less than 1.”
