“Bought in Apr 2023 but started having a squeaking noise when leaning back in early 2024. Now it can be heard when sitting down and leaning back, but other than that, chair is great.”

-On Refurbished: I did a lot of research and felt a refurbished chair was the middle of the road solution between quality and cost for me. I am very happy with the quality of the refurbished parts, especially the upholstery , as I was having a hard time thinking about a "real" used chair. This feels and acts new, minus some very small cosmetic scuffs on frame. This chair is maybe not quite as tanky of a build as the Areon I had previously, but still feels solid.
-The Chair: The LeafV2 is a game changer for me. I have been sitting in a Areon Remastered for maybe 4-5 years and was having significant issues with discomfort in general, and upper/middle back pain any time I would sit down at the chair to work. I will never go back to a mesh chair. The ergonomics and support on this chair are excellent, and a good fit for my body size (5'9" 200+).
-Buying experience: BTOD buying was easy, shipping was fast, and set-up/instructions was easy. I watched a lot of their video's and others videos on YouTube, and I will say it seems refreshing that they push other company chairs (even ones they dont carry) as much or more than the ones they make and sell themselves. Thankfully I have not had to return anything but it seems like others have generally had positive experiences. Pretty amazed at the warranty they offer on a refurb chair as well!
-Overall: Very happy, have already recommended this to to others in my life, and really am optimistic this will be a great chair for a long time.”

“Fabric and upholstery is great. Chair looks perfect. I do wish it went down just a smidge lower. 5' 0.5" tall for reference, with fairly long legs for my height. Overall, this chair is great - first time splurging on a chair designed for smaller people and its orders of magnitude better than any other chair ive had. Only other comment is that I wish I could lock it in recline.”

Came across Steelcase and BTOD, and after some research I pulled the trigger on the Leap v2. Initially, the seat was too firm but over a period of 2 weeks I seem to have adjusted to it, and it is currently the most comfortable computer chair I've ever sat in!
