Like a lot of people I started working from home when COVID hit. The chair I currently had was a decent enough chair I bought from Ikea many years ago. However, working from home full time I started running into issues with my back and my legs hurting or feeling numb. This is when I started looking around for chairs. There are a lot of chairs to choose from out there but the list narrowed quite a bit after seeing reviews and so on. It came down to the Herman Miller Aeron or the Steelcase Leap chair. There really aren't too many places that refurbish the Herman Miller chair and I didn't want to spend the money on a new one. This is when I saw one of the BTOD.com YouTube videos comparing the Steelcase to the Herman Miller. Once that was done I was sold on the Steelcase Leap v2 chair. I then saw the YouTube video showing the referbish process they go through and I'm impressed with how they handle things. It took a hot minute for the chair to get to my house from ethe warehouse due to a delay in parts getting to the warehouse. They could have sent updates out a little more often during the delay but they did reach out. When I got the chair it was nicely packed and everything was wrapped in plastic. Looking over the chair I didn't see anything that stood out as far as defects from the refurbishment. I've been using this chair for a couple days now and I have already noticed the difference in how I sit. At the end of the day I can feel my legs and my back isn't nearly as bad as it was (I've been blessed with a bad back so I would call this the "normal" level). Thanks to BTOD.com for having a source of these chairs. For the price you can't beat it.

A few delays with shipping but otherwise good support and product

The quality is great. It took a very long time - a week or so longer than the estimated month. At one point I started wondering if I'd been cleverly scammed because I was charged up front. The chair is pretty good, I miss having the ability to tilt the base. It feels a tiny bit too pointed up, and I prefer exactly level or slightly down. Everything else is very easily adjustable and the padding is good.

The shipment took a long time and I had to call in to get an explanation. Then when the chair finally arrived and put together, I could not get the chair to go and down. The video on their site did not help me. The chair itself is okay but I was not happy with my experience.

It took awhile to arrive but I couldn't be happier with the chair. It feels and looks new-- the only complaint I have and I'm not sure if this is a result of the bottom half of the chair being made from aftermarket materials, is when I fidget my leg it often makes an annoying noise which isn't something I've never experienced with a chair before. I know that not exactly something quality would test for but it is what it is. At the end of the day I got a Leap V4 for under $600 and I doubt I'd be able to tell the difference between this one and a new one. As a side note if you want to level your chair up pop on some of those nifty razer blade wheels sets you can find on amazon. Works wonders on hardwood floors.

Honestly I was expecting more for the price and time it took to arrive. The cushion is not the best for sitting all day. It also got easily stained. The back works well and the ergo features. I think if it had a mesh back it might be better.

Shipping were disappointing. Quality is good so far. Neutral overall rating.
