That said, the Christmas Forest is London’s favourite independent retailer – or treetailer – of real Christmas trees.

“I’m disappointed with my tree. I have bought from you for years now and I never was disappointed until this year. The tree doesn’t smell, and it’s very skinny at the top. It only makes 6ft because of the main tall branch. I paid a premium for a very standard tree.”
