I really enjoyed the class. Susan gave us lot of great advice what to look out for when buying a machine and how to use a pattern. She demonstrated all the sewing types with great details. The reason I took this class was because I was worried to use a sewing machine. And I left the session as a confident person ready to practice. I bought a sewing machine today and I am excited to practice what I learnt. Thank you very much.

Excellent teacher. Thank you Susan (teacher), for patiently imparting your skills and knowledge to myself and classmates. It was a hugely enjoyable day learning how to sew. The lesson included everything from getting the sewing machine ready to use e.g types of needles to use and different settings on the machine, to tips on how to to read and understand a sewing pattern and the types of materials to choose. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who is interested in learning how to sew and I can guarantee that you will come away with more knowledge and confidence. Big thumbs up .

Great class. Susan was informative, gave tonnes of examples, and brought some pieces to show us examples of the techniques as we went along. It was helpful to see what techniques we were applying in real life and made me realise how intricate clothes designing is when you're making it, not just pulling something off a rack. Well-paced too: lots to learn but never rushed.
