I bought this class as a gift for my 14 year old daughter. She was so thrilled, she got loads out of the day. It's a great intro class - teaches basic skills rather than making a piece, but things that you can put together to make many things. She was really inspired by the teacher, Susan, who used to work in fashion. A huge plus for us was that my daughter could bring her own sewing machine and learn on that. She's had it a couple of years but failed to make any progress teaching herself, so this was the boost she needed to get going.

The most enjoyable and productive day. First class teaching in a calm and relaxed setting. Susan (the teacher) knows exactly what she's doing and the day has a nice flow to it and lovely vibe. Well worth doing. You come out feeling that you can saw and know how to proceed from here. Thanks Susan! it was a joy.
