The instructor was very friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. As a hobbyist food photographer, this helped me improve my presentation and styling skills too.

This is an absolutely brilliant class. Couldn’t recommend it enough. So much fun but so interesting and informative. Joel is the perfect teacher. Just the right amount of fun seriousness care detail feedback information and education. Also everything was supplied including the apron!! This is definitely value for money and I loved the day!!

Ever since watching that Meryl Streep scene in “It’s Complicated”, I have been waiting to try my hand at croissant making. I am glad to say this class did not disappoint! It was fun and informative. On my way to “domestic goddess-hood”!

Joel was a great teacher. Going through details and answering any questions that arose during the process. He demonstrated the techniques and the. Was on hand to assist if anyone required it. We learnt how to make the dough, laminate the butter through the dough and fold it. And then made danishes and croissants. We had a lovely pizza for lunch and got to toast some yummy palmiers made from the puff pastry Joel made. The class is great value for money and everyone went home with two boxes of goodies, if not more. 10/10 would recommend it if you want to learn to make croissants
