Chef Joel was easy and fun to talk to. He made French Croissant baking look easy while thoroughly discussing the step-by-step process. Being from Western Sydney, the venue was a bit far but I would say it was worth the trip. Everything was provided so you don't have to bring anything. We were even able to take home all the bread we made plus a dough we could use again to create more bread after the class. We would definitely consider his other classes in the future.

One of the absolute best, most insightful courses I’ve ever attended. Superb. Full of insights. Deep expertise and knowledge- Hoel’s Frenxh accent helps too.

Fantastic day! Never thought I could make croissant or danish pastries. Joel from Le Marais is a great teacher, well organised and easy to follow instructions. Highly recommended.

Fantastic class. I went home with two boxes full of pastries and croissants, along with dough to continue making them on my own tomorrow. Venue was great and parking really easy. Teacher was lovely and really experienced in the field.

What was the teacher like? Joel was absolutely incredible- he was lovely and very detailed and helpful. How was the venue (if applicable)? Venue is very nice and close to the bus stop. 6 people were in the class including Joel. If materials were provided, did you like them? Yes he gave a recipe, apron, boxes and all the ingredients of course. Was the experience good value for money? Definitely, would love to learn more from Joel. What did you do / learn? Learnt how to laminate the dough to make danish pastries, bear claw, croissants, Pain au chocolat, palmier What did you like most? Eating the food after making it And the whole process of course!
