The stove is not even a year old and we already had to replace the burn pot. Pretty disappointing.

I have been through several pots since the original cracked on the bottom and eventually broke apart. I tried cheaper ones from amazon and event bite the bullet and got a stainles steel version from a stove parts house. None fit correctly and the stove ran like crap. This pot directly from comfortbilt fit like a dream and the stove now runs as it should. It has been about a half a season and I have seen little wear/decay or whatever you want to call it so we will see about longevity but for now I and super pleased and will continue to by my replacement burnpots directly from Comfortbilt.

It was a little bit of a shock that the burn pot cracked the very first year of use. I ordered two, i have two stoves and both cracked rather extensively through the air holes. I continued to us them and the worked Just fine. So now I have two new replacements on hand should the originals fail completely.

It was more expensive than the last few I had purchased, but it seems to be of better quality, especially where it meets the igniter. I will know more when I use it next burning season. It cannot be any worse than the previous burn pots, which tended to crack and have the ring around the igniter break.
