Why does it crack and split every couple of years, at best 2 years.

Got the wrong part twice but still the service is exemplary. So glad I own a stove with such helpful customer support

It was shocking to me that the original burn pots in my two new stoves didn't last a year. I hope there is a good supply of replacements. Maybe you should consider stainless steel? Even though I bought two stoves I could not produce the stove receipt that was sent direct to me from the factory so only one pot was replaced and I'll have to buy the other? Every year?

Quality of these burn pots is not good at all. We've gone through 2 a year since we've purchased the stove. Never had this problem with the other two stoves that we've owned (Lopi and Quadrafire). Would love to try the stainless version but it's always out of stock.
